We were so excited to get this machine to save money on our almond milk...ENTIRELY disappointed! First run with the machine we tried simply strawberries, banana and milk. The strawberries remained whole even after running the machine twice. Today we try to give benefit of the doubt. Follow the directions to a T for almond milk and the machine started smoking a couple minutes into its cycle then totally stopped working. The timer still works tho. Because of my sensitive gut, I couldn't really enjoy regular milk as often as I wanted. And I also do not really enjoy lactose-free milk because the taste feels a little strange to me. Eventually, I turned to mostly drinking unsweetened almond milk for my matcha latte cravings. Over time, I ended up spending quite a bit on good-quality organic almond milk, and one day, a nut milk maker showed up in my recommendations. I bought one from another brand ( 3 years ago) and could not have been happier. I even started using it for porridge, which worked out really well. So I wanted a second machine, one that I could use only for soups while keeping my other one dedicated to nut milk. It's really easy to use, but if you have never tried this type of machine before, make sure to read the instructions at least once. Once you get the hang of it, this type of machine is easy to use and very helpful, especially if you drink nut milk as often as I do. Again, you can also make other stuff like soup, porridge and etc. When these first came out, they were much more expensive, but lately they have become much more affordable, in my opinion. If you plan to use this regularly, it is definitely worth getting, considering the overall value and how much it can save compared to constantly buying cartons of almond or other plant-based milk. Pros: All in 1 blender, no parts to take apart and clean. Easy to clean with hot water and a scrub brush that's included. Less noisy than other standard blenders I've tried. Modern, subtle design. Touch screen. Easy to use, plug it and touch with setting you want. Cons: Cannot blend up frozen fruit like bananas but can handle smaller frozen fruit like mango and pineapple chunks. Overall, I wouldn't purchase this since it can't handle bananas and I love adding frozen bananas to my smoothies. Read more

Add your stuff with water, put the lid on and press the button. I was startled by the noise it made the first time I used it, but now it's not as jarring because I know it will happen.
