I purchased this bulb for a farmhouse style outdoor wall light. I was so happy to find a vintage bulb in the smaller size A15. Bought these bc I am super sensitive to light. I wanted dimmer lights but a friend suggested yellow light and honestly it's great. Way easier on the eyes and not that much less bright. I did notice it was just slightly less bright but, again, that's exactly what I wanted and it was barely any less. It is yellow so it does change colors and how things look but I'm okay with it and have gotten used to it! Been working great for the few months ive been using them so far. Read more

These bulbs produce a distinctively amber light - think of glowy candelight. They worked well in certain lamps around the house, and provided a gentle, warm accent light, but they don't cast enough light to replace overhead LEDs. I was also surprised by how small they were - the base is a standard base, but the glass part of the bulb is only 2 1/2 inches tall. Love these bulbs. Now you, too, can have the secret of the beautiful warm light you see on the feeds of influencers! It has nothing to do with the type of lamp or lamp shade or even the filter you know they’re applying. The glass of the bulb is amber! Such good glow. Put it in all light fixtures and bask in it. I searched long and hard for a lightbulb color that gave me that old fashioned look and feel. These bulbs are a beautiful amber color without being too yellow. They are more than bright enough in my lamp post and they also match the color of the street lamps in the neighborhood. Just perfect! Read more
