Was very excited to find these. They keep a bunch of small plugs near the wall to save space. Contrary to some other reviewers, I LOVE the fact that it has no indicator light. Why do I need an indicator light? I use these in my bedroom and I don't need a bright BLUE light in there at night. I always have to block the light with electrical tape, which is sometimes a little tricky but usually not a very big problem. Anyway, it just stops working after the surge suppressor expires, which should take a very long time in most homes. We have a whole house surge suppressor on top of this so this should last a very long time in ours. Read more

They're great for behind nightstands, dressers, doors, beds, etc. They also have "Automatic shutdown technology" which kills the entire unit when surge protection is not longer present. I think that is a great feature. I don't have to worry about noticing if a light goes out to know if I'm still being protected, like with many other brands of surge protectors. If I could change two things about this, I would, one, add a second plug to the bottom or add a screw in the middle since it's not that tight, and two, put the GE logo on the front so it's not plain and boring and you know its not a cheap product, but it's GE.
