I have no issues with this filter at all. It filters, no after taste. The only thing that I find annoying is when I am gone for a long period of time then it shows it's expired. I generally ignore the warning if it's another short time period before I leave then come back. So no effects of taste or color even in that way. It makes it a great value that the filter really doesn't seem to disintegrate. Since it's me & 2 small dogs I have never really used it to end capacity. It was very easy to replace with the old one. I'll definitely buy it again when the time comes. Side note* The fridge belonged to my dad and was in storage. He gave his storage contents to me. He passed Dec 14, 2025. When my son installed it in the home the ice & water in the door did not work.
