I kept ordering suction shelves/baskets and sure enough, they didn't stay up....not a single one... This one had excellent reviews and people provided specific information and pics (sorry, don't have pics)....And they were right. on. target! I followed the directions: thoroughly cleaned off the area where I planned to attach it, stuck it in the corner of my shower, it's got PLENTY of weight in it, and it has NEVER budged. ... Since early 2020!! Fantastic product!! Fabulous! Just follow the directions and make sure you clean off the surface where you want to stick/hang it really well with alcohol wipes BEFORE you try to install it. You want a squeaky clean surface for best results. I just read a review where someone said not to waste your money.....I was shocked!! I went through about 3-5 of these things in various other brands, but ONLY the Gekco-Loc does what it says and what I wanted a shower basket to do all along, and it is well made. No rust at all! Not a speck! I'm actually on here to order a second one for the other corner of my shower! Very honest advertising and excellent product! I've purchased a couple of these and both took a little fiddling to get right. You have to be careful to stay a few mm away from any curves on your tiles and apply even pressure while tightening the cups. I had both of mine fall off a couple of times but once I got them right the seal is like glue! I had to adjust one and it was actually a little difficult to peel it off the wall! You'll know you've got it right when the screw really won't budge anymore even after leaving them at rest for a minute. Read more

Honestly I was so excited to try this product and put it in my shower. But it did not worked, I put it about 3-4 times and it kept of falling. I even tried the adhesive stickies and they also didn’t worked, I’m very upset and was looking forward to it. I added a picture of it, so y’all can see how it looks on the wall. I installed it on a fiberglass surround. There was some flex to the wall, so I was careful about how hard I pushed on the suction cups during the install. I read the reviews where it didn't hold and I felt it could be due to improper cleaning. After cleaning the wall, I wiped it down with rubbing alcohol to pick up the dried residue the cleaner left behind. It's been holding three bottles and a bar of soap for 5 months now--and I accidentally hit it pretty hard once. The only downside is the gaps in the wires will allow soap to slip through when the bar gets narrow. But, I knew that going in. If only they put some extra wires on it going 90 degrees to the others--it would be perfect. UPDATE: 4 years later and one of the cups got loose. BUT, I was using the protrusion in the back that sits against the shower stall wall as a hook for my brush. That meant every time I hooked & unhooked it, it pulled on it pretty hard as I slipped the rope in and out. I took the opportunity to take it all the way off for a good cleaning and move it to another location. I noticed that the black vinyl/rubber suction cups made the stall wall a little darker (it left a noticeably darker circle). As long as you don't move it, it won't matter. These shelves are so great! They are big, sturdy, and hold all the essential shower "things," and they look good too! So far the suction cups are working great, I just hope that if they fail it's not in the middle of the night or the clatter they will make falling to the floor will probably give me a heart attack! My family had this for maybe a week now. It was easy to install and it clings to our smooth bath walls very well. I like how it is sturdy enough to hold larger bottles, but we did not want to chance it with heavier bottles like the family sized ones at Costco or Sam’s Club. I am unsure about if this will rust or not since we had it for such a short amount of time, but only time will tell in this case. The spacing of the bars are not too wide apart that skinny bottles or tubes will not fall through. Read more

We bought two corner ones. One long straight one and one small soap dish. After days of tweaking, twisting and pushing the plastic knobs, all of them work great except one. After weeks of testing, the product works well after a lot of fiddling with it. Read more

I am always skeptical of how long a suction cup will hold. I had the Gecko-Loc corner shower caddy for a couple weeks and the suction cups have not given in. The twist mechanism that creates the suction seems well made . I also like that you can adjust the position of the suction cups - important if suction cups overlap grout lines in the tile. The corner caddy has room for several product bottles. I didn't use it long enough to see signs of rust, so time will tell. Caddy arrived on time, well packaged, clear instructions.
