TLDR; this thing is my daily power bank and my first choice for traveling. It’s going to last a really long time and the watch and side cable are surprisingly convenient. Most portable power banks out there I’ve found are not LFP (lithium iron phosphate), and honestly that was the main reason I sought out this one. I’m sure you can read the details from the advert, but LFP has a much longer lifespan and these battery cells should last at least 10 years with daily use. My guess is it’s more like 15 or 20. Now there’s no way for me to test that and the electronics on it could go in a few years way before the battery, but the battery chemistry is robust and I’m glad this product exists now. It works great. Also LFP doesn’t mind being fully charged often which is how I like to use my power banks. I like to plug them into my diy solar station in the morning and then come back when they’re full. I know most people will charge a power pack to full, but on most packs (they have NMC chemistry) charging all the way to 100% often will degrade their capacity over time more quickly. I would recommend this power bank for most people because charging to full shouldn’t be a big deal at all with these. I use many battery all day so I respect them but they don’t frighten me when it comes to their safety. However LFP is also really stable as a chemistry and is incredibly difficult to ignite. Plus the aluminum housing seems strong. This battery seems really safe to me. I build my own off grid solar and battery systems where it is much easier to use LFP for energy storage. I’ve been wanting to have an LFP power bank though that I can take and carry around. The Apple Watch charger just happened to be a bonus since I have one. If the power bank is already on and you put on your watch to charge though, you need to press the power button again to get it to sense the watch. My guess is that it turns off the watch charger after a few seconds of something else plugged into another port to save power since there isn’t a watch to draw power. You can charge a watch while charging other things though. I’ve been able to charge the watch and three other devices at the same time: two USB-C with one of the built in cables and an external, and the USB-A port. However, it’s limited to 20 watts maximum output across everything. The only issue I could see is that LFP batteries should not be charged below freezing. I’ve not tested them in cold weather, but I hope that they’ve properly manufactured the battery management to consider cold weather. If you can catch this on sale like I did it’s a phenomenal deal. Even at full price it’s worth the consideration at least, even if it’s a little expensive for the energy density. Even if you have to charge more often it’s not like it’s going to degrade your battery. If you need the most compact energy dense portable battery then this isn’t it but you also won’t need to replace it in just a few years either. Read more

Super handy. The size is perfect to throw in my bag, and the built-in USB-C cable is a lifesaver because I always forget mine. It charges my phone way faster than my old power bank, and the battery lasts way longer than I thought it would. Very sturdy, outputs a good amount for phones, but can be a bit lite for laptops. More watts are better, but doesn't knock off a star. Enough ports that it can be used by multiple devices at once. The built-in cable can be removed which is VERY appreciated. It's heavier than most, which is not only due to the metal housing, but the battery inside. Which for those unfamiliar with battery tech, is a Big Deal. I've waited for literal YEARS to get a real LiFePO4 *handheld* charger. So when the algorithm finally pushed this to me, I couldn't be more pleased. I am expecting the tech, and battery, to last for years. I will be sorely disappointed if it doesn't. Read more

Finally a decent LiFePO4 power bank. It's a nice piece of mind to have a safe and long lasting power bank. You hear about power bank recalls and fires from NMC power banks. This one gives me a safe feeling with the stable LiFePO4 chemistry. It's also UL and CCC rating so it should be allowed on most airlines. It's going to be a bit bigger and heavier than NMC based power banks, but it's a worthwhile trade off. I'm so satisfied, I bought a fleet of these to replace all of our NMC power banks. Read more

It's bigger and heavier than I expected. I understand now why most battery banks aren't LiFePO4 batteries... It's a little underrated with its capacity, too. This battery was fully charged, then when I needed to use it to charge my phone, it WOULD NOT CHARGE the phone at all! I followed all of the steps in the manual, nothing worked!
