I'm reviewing the ease of installation. I installed it into my daughter's Honda Civic. Some reviewers commented that there were no instructions. It's true that there are no instructions. So, I'll tell you what I did to help others get started. I identified a blank area to the left of the auxiliary port where my daughter wanted it installed. Then I pulled out the "pocket" that was directly above the area by removing two Philips screws and then giving it a tug. I pulled out the "pocket" so that I could easily see behind it and make certain that there were no obstructions (or worse, wires) located behind the area. Then I used a 1 1/8" spade bit to drill out the hole where I wanted to install it. Then I installed it and put the "pocket" back in place. Finally, I used an Add-a-Circuit Fuse Tap to wire it into an accessory fuse in the fuse block. I chose a fuse socket that requires the ignition to be in the "on" position because I wasn't sure if this Quad-Port charger would drain the battery if I connected it to a "always on" fuse block. I attached pictures. My daughter didn't want the dust cover installed on the Quad-Port charger; so you'll notice that I included pictures of both (with the dust cover and without the dust cover). Her rationale is that she's always going to have cords plugged in to the Quad-Port charger and thus it will never be closed and it will simply be in the way. Enjoy the pictures. Read more

The product is first rate ... lighted (in blue) and has an on/off switch. Two USP 3.0 ports. Wiring is at least 16 gauge and fused. Of course, if you install it in the dash, you probably want to just depend on the fuse box. Interesting that they gave an installation tool (drill bit), but no instructions .... that would have been OK, but they also supplied a coil spring. No idea what to do with it. But it didn't matter, because it was an exact match (size-wise) for the cigarette lighter which it replaced. Installation was sort time consuming as I had to pull off the dash fascia. But that was expected, so no worries. I just wish I had installed this a long time ago. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Super easy installation for my Land Rover: was able to use the original wiring and hole from an existing 12v receptacle. The other one is going into a Corvette, but will need some work to be done. Read more

Very handy in her RV especially if you're parked where you're using battery and do not have any power to plug the RV in because you can turn them off and stop a battery drain from them. They have plenty of power to charge my Samsung phone at what is called super fast charging. Read more
