Love these boots! I wanted a different color that wasn't available in my size (11), so I picked the patent leather black because they were available. Anyway, they look great, like 60s go-go boots. I've had lots of compliments. The square toe allows for plenty of room for my big ol' toes and even though they're not broken in, they don't hurt my feet. Read more

The boots look nice and seem pretty well constructed. The zippers are stiff, but nothing a little rub of bar soap couldn't cure. I typically wear a 9.5 in tennis shoes and a 10 in boots. My feet are a little on the wide side (in the toe box area). So, I ordered a 9.5 and a 10, with a plan to return whichever felt least comfortable. To my surprise, they fit almost exactly the same. I've attached pictures to demonstrate the almost imperceptible difference between the sizes. For what it's worth, I think I'll be keeping the 9.5. My only real concern is that there's a sort of hard-ish shell inside the 'shoe' portion of the boot. I apologize I'm not more familiar with the terminology. Part of it (see picture) sits immediately below my inner ankle and digs in just a little. I'm a bit concerned it will cause some pain/discomfort when I wear the boots for an extended period of time. However, it's also possible it will soften some with wear and not be a problem at all. I'll update the review if it does become a problem. Overall, I feel like these are decent boots for the price.
