These boots are true to size, and they fit my feet comfortably right out of the box—no need to size up or down. The 2-inch low kitten heel is just the right height—adds a bit of lift without sacrificing comfort. I’ve worn them for full days out and my feet never felt sore, which is a big win! The faux leather is soft and looks nice, not overly shiny or cheap-looking. The side zipper works smoothly and makes them easy to get on and off. One minor downside: they’re slightly loose around the calf. I have an average calf circumference, so if you have slimmer legs, they might be a bit roomy. I’m giving these boots four stars because they are absolutely gorgeous and the quality is top-notch, making them a very stylish choice for a special occasion. I purchased them for my little sister to wear for her graduation pictures, and while the style was perfect for the photos, the fit was a bit tricky; there is very minimal stretch around the calf, so the ease of putting them on was a challenge as they almost didn't zip up. In terms of wearability, they worked well for the ceremony, but she did mention that the comfort level dropped the longer she had them on. We also noticed the soles became quite slippery in the rain, so while they are high quality and look amazing, they are definitely better suited for shorter events rather than all-day wear. Read more

This is a review for the GENSHUO Knee High Boots for Women, 2 Inch Low Kitten Heel Tall Boots, Square Toe Long Dress Boots with Side Zipper, Fashion Fall Winter Knee-High Boot (Burgundy Matte). PROS: Beautiful, comfortable, lightweight, easy to walk in. The burgundy matte is fantastic-looking. I have another similar pair of faux-leather kitten heel boots (different brand, different color) which I like, but these are even nicer -- they look really good. The faux leather is very soft, high quality, difficult to visually distinguish from real leather. They are well made; the zippers work smoothly and have a nice gold tone pull; the interior lining is soft and smooth. The top is wide enough for somewhat thicker calves, which is sometimes an issue with tall boots, especially vintage boots (my calves are 14 inches around and these boots fit nicely). They come well packaged in a shoe box, with a dust cover for each boot. They even provide a set of spare heel tips! I've never seen that before. The price is absolutely fair for the quality. CONS: No major issues that I see and Nothing I’d take a star off about. But I do have some informational notes: A slight chemical factory odor that seems typical of new faux leather items and gassed off after a day or so of being left out of the box. will say that the listing calls them "square toe" but they are really more like a point-toe (just barely squared off). Not a con, just a note. The soles are rubber but not much tread — fairly smooth — I would be careful wearing these in slippery winter weather. Also of course these will not wear forever as a pair of genuine leather boots do -- but they don't represent a hefty "genuine leather" price point either. I sometimes hesitate to order Vine items that are clothes/shoes because I can't return them and the quality can be a crapshoot -- but in this case, I am VERY happy with these and highly recommend them. These boots are comfy and cute! The square toe allows for a bit more room than a pointy toe. The heel height is nice - stylish but not super high. The quality seems to be great on these.
