This wax is great. I am currently going through Invisalign treatment and I needed something to help with aligners rubbing against my gums. While I was waiting for this to arrive I went out and bought two name brand packs at the store. The name brand stuff I bought was hard and didn't stick very well. This stuff is easy to mold and sticks really well. I threw the name brand wax in the trash. There were a total of 9 cases of wax with 5 strips of wax in each case. This is a little bonus info and not it's intended purpose (call it a life-hack), but I also use this to keep my apple ear buds from falling out of my ears when I go for a run. I take a small bit and mold it around the ear bud (from the top, along the inside of the bud and down to the bottom) and it no longer works it's way out of my ear. I use it for a couple runs, peel it off, and put on another small bit. Works good. So... whether you are in the market for a good wax for orthodontic purposes, or some other purpose altogether, you're going to like this wax. Read more

This is the best dental wax out there! I tried several different brands from the orthodontist, but nothing stayed on like this one. The little pre-cut cubes make it easy to get the perfect amount, and it softens quickly making it easy to apply. The staying power though is why I really love it. I can put it on an annoying bracket and it stays on all day - even after eating and drinking. No funny texture, taste or smell. It's easy to remove when needed/wanted, doesn't crumble or get gummy. Upon opening a pack they are a bit deflated amount compared to Gum Brand. This is not as hard as gum brand. ***The picture shows nice full squares but it is a actually a smaller amount than Gum brand. **** It is more useful than Gum brand. This material at the time of leaving this review is exactly what I need. I wore it overnight on just my back 2 top teeth where I need the most. Rinsed with listerine (gold kind) before drinking some water and cooled off coffee and it is still on!!! I rinse my mouth with water if i have long periods betweens sips of my coffee too and its stays on. I will take off before I eat lol NO Crumbling at all !!! Perfectly malable and sticky enough. I've had Invisalign for 4 months now and every week I replace my old tray and put a new one in and every week there's a sharp edge somewhere that cuts my mouth or tongue. You would think that for the cost of Invisalign, that they would ensure that the bottom of the tray is smooth, but that's a different story. I have tried filing the tray down to remove the sharpness, but a lot of the time this actually makes the issue worse which is why I began using wax. The store bought wax is horrible. It's definitely made to stick to metal braces and not something plastic like Invisalign. Usually it falls out right away, but sometimes you can wedge it just right so it sticks and even then it feels like it's going to fall out and often does. That's when I went online and decided to give this wax a try. I was put off a bit by the price, it's not a lot but if it didn't work then I will have invested in 10 packs of wax that i'll never use. I decided to go for it because I needed some kind of relief, my tongue and mouth were in pain and I couldn't find a solution anywhere. This wax is Amazing, it almost feels like a cross between bubble gum and wax, it's super smooth, easy to tear off (unlike the store wax), and it immediately sticks to Invisalign without feeling like it will fall off. I tore a tiny piece off and stuck it on and it immediately worked. There was no need to fidget with it and even now I don't feel like I might swallow it my sleep.
