Love these filters! I only purchase OEM GermGuardian replacement filters, because I find the off-band filters use lower quality materials, and the pre-filters do not catch as many debris, which causes you to have to replace them sooner. However THESE OEM GermGuardian, while the pre-filter is thinner than off brand, they last longer, and catch a lot more hair/dust/fibers. As long as you clean the Pre-Filter once a month, you really do get 6 months out of the actual filter. If you have a cat, this is a MUST! Read more
