I ordered this vest, along with the make weights, to help with strength training. It fits great. The straps are good length and there are two of them, which helps to contour the vest against your body. This is important because if you use this for anything that requires up and down movement, you won’t want it bouncing off your chest. The weight is good. Not too heavy but not too light either. It looks like you can add additional weight to it if you desire, as there are pouches along the length where the weights are. Combined with the ankle weights I’ve found this to really enhance my workouts and I’m happy to be using them. One thing I really like is that it comes with an armband that you can use to hold your phone during your workout. Never used one before this but can’t imagine there are any out there that I would prefer over it. My wife and I have been slipping on being in shape. We are trying to get walks in everyday. This weighted vest has been a really nice find. At unboxing, we both thought the construction was really top notch. This vest's weight is set. it is not designed to add or subtract heaviness. The weight comes from metal balls, not powder or ingots. I've had various fitness items that utilized all kinds. The powder can get messy and the ingots can wear holes. These little metal balls are a slicker way to go. The vest is one size fits all but it can be adjusted for either one of us. The vest is really well padded so it doesn't fatigue the wrong parts of your body when walking. There are two straps on the front, we are both a little chubby for the lower strap - but not for long! From the pictures, its hard to tell whats going on with the filling. Instead of the normal sand and/or stone, its filled with iron beads. This keeps the low profile and sleek while being heavy weighted. I got the 12lb one and its true to the weight. Its also balanced really well where its not like a backpack nor other vests with plates. Also comes with a phone pouch which might be slightly too small for something like an iphone pro max with a case. The inside is smooth thought i still might cause skin irritation so highly recommend wearing it over a shirt. Read more
