Great clippers. The only critique I have is that the slide thing that holds it closed should have some kind of locking mechanism. I bought these for my husband, as he asked for them. I decided to try them out and they definitely cut very quickly and easily. However, when I cut my smallest toenail, I did not have it aligned as well as I thought. It cut through the skin of my toe & bled profusely. Be very careful when using them. I didn't know anyone made nail clippers that prevented the clippings from flying around. Before I got this I would go into my backyard to clip my nails. Now I can clip them in the bathroom, like a civilized person. They really work well and catch all the clippings into the jaws. Every so often, you turn them upside down to empty the clippings into the trash or I guess you could also save them if that's your thing. They're quite sharp and cut nails easily. They also come with a tin case and a small metal file. The clippers also have a small built-in file on the back. The only minor issue I have is that the paint is easy to scratch, even with just normal handling. In fact, they came a little scuffed up just from rattling around in the tin case during transport, even though they were in their own little plastic bag.
