We needed a few new beach towels so I got this one as a Father's Day gift for my husband...a kind of two for one thing. Unfortunately for me, my husband liked it so much that he decided that he wanted to take it to work and hang it in his office. He's an engineer, so this isn't as weird as it might sound. :D As far as if it's worth the price, this towel would have been great for the pool or beach - it felt very thick and of good quality. Husband claims it's suitable as a banner as well, so there's that. While I still need to get new beach towels, my husband was very satisfied with this item. 100% recommend to any Hitchhiker's fan. Cool towel
Cool towel and perfect for my geeky husband's 42nd bday. Which is the ONLY reason I was willing to pay $30+ for a towel. Geeze. He better use the dang thing e very shower for that price! And it better be the towel he chooses should the world explode and we have to hitchhike outta here. Read more
WARNING! Not recommended for use with or near the Total Perspective Vortex.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. That being said, my wife recently turned 42 and with some Deep Thought I decided what better way to celebrate that milestone than with a towel. The towel is plenty large, soft and thick. It is not a cheap thin towel nor should it be for the price. The print is only on one side while white on the other... not that matters in the grand scheme of the universe. Sadly neither Amazon or getDigital recognizes a leaf as legal tinder for this towel. If you fold the towel just right and put it up to your ear, you can hear it say So long and thanks for all the fish. Read more
