There are things I really like about these slippers, such as the excellent arch support, the roomy toe box, the firmness of the non-slip soles, and that they can be worn in a wider range of temperatures than most slippers I’ve had, but there’s room for improvement—especially considering their price: —the insoles are not cushioned…at all. After half an hour walking or standing in these slippers my feet were sore, even with the great arch support, so I had to add cushioned insoles, which brings me to the second issue: —they’re wider than expected. I’m very happy with the roomy toe box, and I plan to wear these slippers with heavy socks once cold weather sets in, but they’re either a man’s size 7 or they're a woman’s wide—and I don’t have narrow feet. (I made sure I ordered a woman’s 7, and I don’t want to order a size down because the length is good.) I ordered some good memory foam insoles, which has helped a lot because, even with regular cushioned insoles, the slippers were just too roomy without heavy socks. —the draw cord is a nice feature, but it should be in addition to elastic or something stretchy around the top. I have to manually release or tighten the draw cords to get the slippers on or off, so I can’t just slip my feet in and out of them. And because the slippers are so wide, I have to keep the draw cords tightened to keep them from being sloppy/loose on my feet, but the draw cords loosen some while I’m wearing the slippers, so I’m constantly having to tighten them. However, despite the issues, I did keep them and give them 3 1/2-4 stars. Read more
