Tried-and-true favorite in our house My husband has been using Gillette Fusion razors for a long time and absolutely swears by them — he’s even had a subscription for them because they work that well. The shave is consistently smooth, close, and comfortable, with no irritation, which is why he keeps coming back to them. The only downside is the price, as the refills can be on the expensive side. That said, the performance and durability outweigh the cost for us, and we continue to repurchase because the quality is reliable every single time. If you’re looking for a razor that delivers consistent results and lasts, this one is worth it. Read more

These blades are amazing — super smooth shave every time and no irritation, even on sensitive skin. The 12-pack lasts me months, and each cartridge gives me several great shaves before it dulls. Definitely worth the price and far better than cheaper options. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a clean, effortless shave.v Read more

Hi, i hope my research and experience convinces you that these are legit: - i am a long time dedicated Gillette Fusion user since it came out, and before that, i was dedicated to the Mach 3. - i searched for an alternative due to the cost ( in NYC, i have paid up to $20 for a 4 pack). However, i do not believe there is a comparable razor on the market. I recently tried Harry's which i found to be half as good. the blades are too close, hair gets stuck, and needs continuous rinsing resulting in a slow and inferior shave. this is probably why they try to brand shaving as 'fun'. For me , i want to shave in under 60 seconds and be done with it. Nothing comes close to Fusion in terms of speed and quality of shave . Personally, I have learned to live with the exorbitant cost. That said, i have been trying to get them cheaper. - I read many reviews and was hesitant because some say they received fake razors. There are actually 3 subsets of negative reviews: 1) fakes 2) lesser quality than store and 3) believed they were 'ProGlide' (more than 50%). I will address all 3. On #1, I do believe those reviews, however there are very few of them. i attribute these probably to issues with the seller and most of them are older reviews. On #2, I have bought these razors in the store probably for 10 years and have had similar experiences (on rare occasions) to the negative reviews like "do not last as long", "strip faded quickly".. i think these are issues of quality control from Gillette and not specific to where or how you buy them. On #3, its a bit confusing because the Amazon headline says 'ProGlide' and in the picture the box flap says 'ProGlide'. However, if you read carefully, the box flap is only an advertisement to 'upgrade' to ProGlide - It does NOT imply that the razors included are 'ProGlide'. i know, its confusing and this is why i give 4 stars and not 5. - I paid $35.06. A bargain to store retail. but check them on Jet.com for $36.79 and Walgreens.com for $42.29. So, my point is that this is not a 'too good to be true' price that would make me question the authenticity. - I called P&G at 1-800-Gillette. the rep came to this exact page while i was on the phone. He was not allowed to confirm or deny they were real, and said i needed to call Amazon. but he did say they looked legitimate from the pictures and packaging. This tells me that Gillette does produce and sell 12-packs in this type of packaging. My experience with the product: I opened the box and immediately believed the packaging and razors to be real. They shave just like the ones i have always bought and i will buy again from here. Read more

I have expectations. A good shave, a) doesn't cause razor burn, b) leaves no stubble, and, c) has no cuts. These blades do that. For a long time. I started my first one in mid December. It's now March 2. That's two and a half months on one cartridge, and it's still shaving almost like new. A shave with this old, genuine Gillette cartridge takes less than two minutes. Afterward, my face feels fine--no razor burn, no cuts--and it has only tiny hints of stubble (a few hairs) over my entire face. I do not exaggerate: after two and a half months of daily use, I have no razor burn, no cuts, and no stubble. My face feels like any other hairless part of my body. It's hard to tell which way my beard grows. Rub it with the growth direction and there is no stubble at all. None. Rub it against the growth and you feel hints of stubble, like a fine emery board, in a few places. I do not use shave cream and the lubrication strip on the cartridge wore off a long time ago. I shower, then swipe a wet bar of soap here and there on my face. I then splash warm water on and rub for one to two seconds to get a slippery coat of soap. Then I shave. The result is as I have written above: no razor burn, no stubble, no cuts. Day after day after day. Gillette claims 30 days. I was HIGHLY skeptical. I truly believed brand-name blades are a total scam. Before this, I shaved with Dollar store twin-blade disposables at $2 for five and thought I was getting away with something. I got maybe a week of fairly clean, fairly painless shaves out of one of these disposables. But the shaves aren't actually comparable. I tried a new one of those Dollar store shavers maybe three weeks ago. New out of the package. The shave took longer. I couldn't get several problem areas: obvious stubble remained. Even rubbing with the grain of my beard, I felt light stubble in most places. When I had rinsed and dried, I had a little razor burn. With disposables, I had a cut at least once a week. With this 10-week-old cartridge, I have had a total of one cut. A seven-week-old Gillette Fusion cartridge, used daily, shaved much better than a new-out-of-the-package disposable shaver. Cost for 10 weeks of shaves: Two packages of Dollar Store twin-blade disposables: $4, with not-so-good shaves and some razor burn and cuts, and all shavers are used up. One genuine Gillette Fusion cartridge (in a package of 12 for $35): $2.90, and the cartridge is almost as good as new. These cartridges are cheaper than Dollar Store twin-blade disposables. They shave better for weeks and weeks. After two and a half months, I still tell you yet how long they last. These cartridges are a total no-brainer. Very few brand-name products are this much better than store brand. A twelve pack should last at least two and a half years. Cost per shave (at $35 for twelve): $00.04. You will have an extremely close, comfortable shave every day for weeks and weeks and weeks on each cartridge. Your day starts with a shave. It should be this good every day. Read more
