If my memory serves, Gillette’s Cool Wave line launched in the early 90’s - I’m guessing in response to the popularity of Cool Water cologne (still a classic). I say that because, if you like Cool Water or similar “blue” type fragrances, this aftershave splash is for you. I’m also including that because, for a line that’s been around for about 30 years, until I ordered this here, I’ve never seen it in a store. I’d been using the Cool Wave aftershave gel - also a great, affordable product, but was looking for something with a little alcohol to give my face a “snappy” feeling instead of greasy. And brother, this stuff does exactly that! For less than six dollars, you get a generous bottle. It soothes my skin quickly, and has a pleasant, but not overwhelming, clean scent that lasts a few hours - and it doesn’t smell like an “old guy” fragrance. Most importantly, I don’t need to use a lot for it to be effective. This stuff could easily be mistaken for something much more expensive. Simple but good. Feels light on skin. The scent seems a little strong at first but settles very well in less than a couple of minutes. Then I go about my day, no worries. Been using this for a long long time. I shave every other day and splashing the aftershave is what I forward to in the mornings. My wife always compliments me when I use it.
