I really like my new knife set. It fits perfectly in my country kitchen. This is my second set of Ginsu knives. I had to retire my old for new (after 11 years). It is true my Ginsu knives have always stayed sharp. Read more
Ginsu knife set
I purchased this knife set after trying many other brands that didn’t work as well over time. I cook a lot and a sharp knife makes a big difference when slicing and dicing fruits and veggies. The Ginsu knife set is outstanding. The knives are extremely sharp and strong and I might add it is a beautiful set, the blades have a mirror finish. I was really surprised that this set was everything as advertised forever sharp. Money well spent, I love this beautiful set. I would definitely recommend this item. You won’t be disappointed. Quality and sharp
I read some of the other 1 and 2 star reviews and was a little reluctant to purchase and I am glad I did. This is a quality knife set and very sharp. My set does not bend like some of the pictures from other reviewers. I got the complete set with no missing items. I love the quality of the color it is a deep plum. I do not have a dishwasher so I will not be able to attest to rust from using a dishwasher. However, so far with hand washing and towel drying no rust yet. I do not let my knives air dry as the sitting water will promote rust. I will update this review if anything changes as well as including a picture. I recommend getting this set. The 7" Santoku knife is the only without a serrated edge as it should be. I and my husband are very satisfied with this set of knives. Even consumer reports gave this knife set a high rating. Best knives for the money
These are excellent knives. The price sold them first, but the quality has made me buy again as a gift, and again when after 14 years my second knife broke. Mind you, not the blade, the rivet on the handle broke one and came loose on the other which made my son break the plastic handle. I never sharpen them, and I never struggle to cut anything, no matter how bad my wife burns the steak. I have 3 sons and these go through the dish washer every day. Read more
