My set does not bend like some of the pictures from other reviewers. I got the complete set with no missing items. I love the quality of the color it is a deep plum. I do not have a dishwasher so I will not be able to attest to rust from using a dishwasher. However, so far with hand washing and towel drying no rust yet. I do not let my knives air dry as the sitting water will promote rust. I will update this review if anything changes as well as including a picture. I recommend getting this set. The 7" Santoku knife is the only without a serrated edge as it should be. I and my husband are very satisfied with this set of knives. Even consumer reports gave this knife set a high rating.
