I requested the 7-8 year size as my daughter typically wears 7/8 leggings for her uniforms and it was a bit larger than we're used to so I did have to pin the waist but she says it's quite comfortable. I ordered the NUMYEAN Girls Uniform Tennis Skort in the color Black in size 11-12Y, and the quality is awesome. It's very cute, stylish, comfortable, and easy to move around in. The sizing is pretty accurate, for reference, my tween usually wears a size 12/14 regular in girls, and the 11-12Y fit closer to a 12. The built-in shorts are a mom approved for modesty, keeping even the most active girls covered. The fabric is mostly cotton (95% cotton, 5% spandex) with a good stretch. It washes well in cold water; I line dry it, but you could absolutely tumble dry it if desired. It hasn't faded, shrunk, or pilled at all. Besides the pleats, it resists wrinkles, and the pull-on waist is way less annoying than dealing with buttons or zippers. What really makes this skort stand out are the roomy, stretchy hidden pockets tucked into the shorts. The pockets are great for holding a phone, Chapstick, cash and card, or small stuff without having to carry a bag! So convenient! This piece is incredibly versatile and easy to pair with tons of different outfits for school, weekends, holidays, tennis, pictures, and warm weather. It’s a simple, classic skort, perfect for everyday use.
