1) Monitor shakes like a bobblehead doll when attached

Installed with an HP 27xi. PROS: 1) It does the job. CONS: 1) Monitor shakes like a bobblehead doll when attached. While the mount itself is secure, the distance between the monitor and the mount, plus the thickness and flex of the material do not make a stable combination. The slightest bump sends it jiggling like a bowl of Jell-O. It's attached to an Ergotron MX desk arm that can hold a ~30lb. iMac without a shimmy. 2) The mount is painted rather than anodized or oxidized. It's sticky, and the paint comes off. 3) The VESA holes are not threaded. The mount comes with screws and nuts, which work fine, but are difficult to install when one hand is supposed to hold up the monitor. Get a second person to help, be very patient, or grow a third arm. Threaded holes would have made the install much easier. 4) The bracket was not an easy fit inside the slot at the bottom of the monitor. It took enough force to make me feel uncomfortable with the install, but I kept at it and eventually it pushed in far enough to "click" and pop out the quick-release button. Paint came off, of course. THOUGHTS: It's OK. I will probably use it until it drives me nuts, until I find a better solution, or a different monitor. I expected more for almost $40. Read more
