This product did exactly what I needed for an ergonomic WFH set up. It is well done and happy with them installed in place with separately purchased monitor arms. No issues with screws provided or compatibility, worked great. The solid metal mount bracket is perhaps too sturdy for the monitors, which is more of a knock on the monitors. Would not recommend monitors be moved around by the screen itself to adjust height/angles since the Lenovo monitors are delicate compared to mounting bracket. Read more
Solid product. The instructions were somewhat clear; some of the screws were missing but it worked nicely. It is a bit unstable when the desk shakes but it does its purpose. I'm glad these adaptors exist but this was a bit pricy. Read more
Overall a good fit to convert the monitors to more versatile positioning using one of the VESA monitor arms or stands. The cost is a little pricey considering the great value these monitors were when I bought them. But it still beats throwing away perfectly fine monitors for the sake of limited positioning options. I have always sort of wanted to mount my Lenovo L24q-20 monitor for the past 1-2 years. With the work-at-home mandate recently, I finally pulled the trigger so I can free up my desk workspace. The metal mount looks to be of very high quality - it is definitely made individually via some machine milling/laser cutting process and the black color appears to be chemically anodized - so I'm definitely not concerned about the paint coming off. The metal is super tough (I imagine they're using a high carbon steel) - not the slightest amount of flex when I put my strength on it. Mount, screws, and manual was simply packed into a USPS box. Regarding screws, the wrong ones were provided - the manual lists them as content part-D; these are the screws in which you're supposed to use to attach the original metal clips from the L24q-20 unto the Gladiator Joe mount. The screws in part-D are supposed to be flat-countersunk screws; but the ones provided are non-countersunk and rounded/bulbous head. These non-countersunk screws do NOT work because you can't clip the original metal clips back unto the rear-slot of the L24q-20 as the screw head isn't flush with the original metal clips. The problem is resolved by simply making a trip to Menards and getting some M3x8mm flat-countersunk screws - about $2. I could risk using the original M3 screws from my monitor, but they are super short (as Lenovo didn't intend their screws to be used with hex nuts) - so you risk the M3 hex nuts (part-E in manual) loosening over time, and then my $180 Lenovo monitor crashing down unto my desk when the screw comes off. Some people complained about the ~$30 price being a little steep. I'm a realistic person and I honestly think it's a very fair price. This is a product produced in very small numbers to fulfill the needs of L24q customers who may be interested in mounting their L24q monitor. With the amount of work it may have taken to initially design and test the product (to fulfill a small demand), the overhead cost of running their operations/machinery/staff, the quality steel they're using, and considering how well-machined the mount is; I think the $30 is a very reasonable price - and I thank Gladiator Joe for stepping in to fulfill my needs. This works perfectly for my L24Q monitor. I don’t know why Lenovo decided to not add a VESA option but this product is a godsend. That said, if you, like me initially and the other reviewer see that the screws are long enough, you have not removed enough screws. There are five screws to remove from the original stand, not five. The fifth one is in the middle, under the serial number sticker. You need to poke a hole into the sticker. This will also remove the plastic backing. I initially thought there were four screws and one was extra. I also thought the screws were not long enough. See picture for the location of the five screws. This is pricey but such a niche product that it is worth the price. Overall great product. Read more
Amazing build quality as the entire this this metal. The process is transferring the mount connection from the stand and mounting it to the adapter. 5 screws to remove and 5 to put on. It took all of 10 mins. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with this monitor and will come back to the seller if I have another monitor I need an adapter. TLDR: 10/10 Get it, it works and feels great Read more
When i connected the adapter and the metal piece from the original monitor the holes did not match. Except for the middle one. Had to drill in total two extra holes in the adapter one on the left and one one the right side. Now it works as it should. Overall satisfied with the product. The qualtity and sturdiness are good. Fits perfectly. Very straightforward to install. There's a lit bit of wobble because the monitor cantilevers from the bracket and VESA connection, but that's due to the ridiculous design of the monitor's mounting point itself, not this bracket. I love my monitor, and this bracket gave it new life by freeing it from the desktop. Read more
