Global 8-Piece Knife Set
No other knife set that I've ever owned in my long history of cooking/food prep. compares to the excellence of these knives. Have owned several "name" brands. They've been okay -- FOR A TIME. Mind you, I have treated them with care -- no harsh cleaners, no time spent in the dishwasher. Yet, they still needed quite frequent sharpening. Even when new, they haven't been as SHARP as the Global knives. HIGHLY recommend these Global Knives (with block). The price is right; the quality is seamless. Read more

Chips/ dents in one knife already
I sure didn't expect dents and defects in one of the knives afer just a few weeks. I've always wanted a nice knife set. All knives are sharp and love the handles but dissatisfaction that several nicks showed up on one of the knives already.. won't buy again or recommend as these were very expensive. I expect a better product for the money I spent. Read more
