I've been using Global knives for over 2 decades, and loved this set! Use it for everyday chopping needs and my favorite and go-to knife set! Knives have to be sharp, and these definitely don't dull that quickly! Beautifully designed, easy to use, perfect weight and grip for my tiny little hands and definitely highest quality. The other global knife set I have, I've been using for over 15 years without issue, so can't wait to be using this set for another 15 or more! Read more

These knives are incredible. The balance is perfect. The blade is super sharp. Handles make for a comfortable grip. Yes, they are expensive but you won't need to buy another knife if you buy these. You could just buy the chef's knife and save some money. The vegetable knife and paring knife are great but you don't need those. Nice extra but you can do everything you need to do in the kitchen with just a great chef's knife and this is the one. Easy to clean. Do not put in the dishwasher. This will dull your blade. They cut anything like a hot knife on butter. The diamond blade sharpener keeps them straight and nasty sharp. I don’t even want to use them unless I’m prepping a lot. Very good. Read more

I tried the chef knife at a kitchen store along with several other high end knives and this was my favorite. All of the knives are well balanced and handle beautifully. Extremely sharp and thin blades allow for precise cuts. I would highly recommend not only the knives but this particular set as it covers all of your basics for a great price. Read more

They came on time and are phenomenal! What a difference from my old mix matched hand me down set I've had most of my adult life. These knives are very well balanced and feel light in the hand but solid. Super sharp! Read more

I must admit I had really high expectations for this set. I did a lot of research and was looking for some great knives worthy of a chef's kitchen and settled on Global. I know this isn't the top of the line set, but I was not impressed with the sharpness of the blades right out of the box. Others commented that you don't need to sharpen the knives for awhile, but mine came slightly dull and the company wants you to only sharpen with a ceramic whetstone (which I thought I'd buy in a few months when the knives got dull). So maybe I had higher expectations that I should have, but I've owned plenty of 'meh' knives before but they were easily sharpened and worked fine. I just wanted to splurge for some really great knives for making dinner every night and I just don't think these live up the hype. They are nice to hold and I like their weighting, but the sharpness factor is why I chose them and they have fallen short. Read more
