I have tried so many book lights, and I have hated all of them. The light on them never seems to cover the entire entirety of the page and I am constantly needing to move them around, making my reading experience less than stellar. This clip on lamp is amazing and definitely worth the price. I like that I can just clip it to the back of my headboard so that I am not needing to mess with the light while I am reading. I love that it has multiple brightness settings and you can change the warmth of the light. I also really like the nightlight option which is a separate function so that you can have both the normal light and the nightlight on at the same time. The gooseneck has a lot of flexibility so you can move it around and you are able to clip the lamp in various spots and still have the light where you need it. The cord connected to the light has a little remote on it that you can turn the light on and off, set a timer, and adjust the brightness or warmth. It also comes with a separate remote to control the same functions. If you are tired of the limitations of clip on book lights, making it difficult to read physical books in bed, then you really should get this light. Read more
This is a very nice lamp. I was having trouble to sleep. I did not know why, but I read about day light or blue light vs amber light and the effect they have on the eyes and brain. So, I tried this lamp and what a difference! I could sleep better since the first day. Then you can graduate the intensity of the light to your liking, but the key is really the amber light with 2700K. Then there is thie super soft light on top (1800k) which is a major bonus. It really looks and feels like the light of a candle or a fireplace. Soft and nice. What would I need that, I wonder... but then... the first time I needed to get up on the meedle of the night to go to the restroom, oh what a suprise! I couls see weel enough, but the best part, my eyes did not react against the sudden light at all! no other type or intensity of light does this. Excellent lighting from this clip-on light. Different color modes make for comfortable reading. The clamp spring is very strong so the lamp stays put. The bendy arm is also strong and doesn't sag. The night light may be a little bright for some, but the orange glow is easy to fall asleep to. Plus you can set the timer for nightlight and regular light. I'm using mine on the headboard of my metal framed bed. It makes reading so much better now. I've had zero issues with flickering. The lights stay at the set amount even after hours of use. Everything stays cool to the touch so no fire risk. This is the perfect multi-purpose light that is portable enough to travel with. Read more
This is a nice little lamp. I have it clipped to my headboard upstairs; I use it for reading. I'm not a big fan of LED, but this product does what it's supposed to. It's adjustable; the neck is flexible and the control is good for adjusting the light level. I do really like the nightlight feature; it gives a mellow glow to the room. Exactly what I needed for reading in bed, and even better and more versatile than I expected. The ability to turn on/off the orange (dusk) light, separate from (or at the same time as) the main light, is helpful. I also like being able to change the brightness of the main light. It's fantastic for lighting a space, or your book, as it emits light generally, not as a spotlight. I also love that it plugs in and the cord is long enough to be practical and versatile. (I'd hate to snuggle into bed with a book and find the light needs to be recharged). Read more
This light is amazing. The clip is robust/string and padded so it doesnt damage surfaces its clipped to. The nightlight and reading light are on 2 different circuits - they can be turned on/off independently of the other. Its has a remote. It has a sleep feature. You can change the warmth and brightness of the reading light. I use the lowest setting to eliminate blue light exposure while reading right before bed. Its just a great light! Read more
