Godinger Highball Glasses Beverage Cups - Lumina 10oz Set Of 4

I love them! The reason I bought these is because I had literally broke all but one glass. Most I broke while washing because they slip out of my hand. I saw the design on these and said to myself, "if you drop these you dont deserve to have any glasses!" They are very sturdy and the little balls of glass on the outside make it easy to grip and they're just pretty to look at. They're easy to clean and being that they're heavy in weight they're harder to knock over, well not necessarily, you can still knock them over but you have more time to recover the glass from falling because it doesn't tip over quickly, if that makes sense. We ordered all the Lumina glassware sets to replace our aging and mismatched everyday glasses. We wanted something to go with Italianate dinnerware (Deruta style), and these looked perfect. They're heavy and just exquisite in look and feel. I'd give them 5 stars except when we unwrapped them and read the enclosed hang-tag, we realized they aren't dishwasher-safe! These are Shannon crystal (from Godinger silver) and they recommend hand-washing only, so for that, the listings on these are a bit misleading. We'll still dishwash them and hopefully today's modern dishwashers don't dull them too much. Read more

A little cheesy looking, but the quality is definitely there. These are heavy, the glass is nicely crafted, the bottom doesn't look like it was just rimmed in. Can't see the seams very much. They were a gift, and at a great price will definitely seem more expensive than they are. Read more
