It's not quiet as described. But it's not super loud either. It's about the same volume as any other space heater that sits on the floor. It's not an issue for me because of where I'm using it. I would rather it heat well than be whisper quiet. Heating wise, it works well. Kept the bathroom comfy to take the chill off before showering. I plugged it I to a gfi outlet and made sure it fit snugly to ensure there are no surge issues and so far it hasn't. The remote is easy to operate. I like that the element shuts off at time and the fan still runs to prevent overheating. The fan also runs for 60 seconds after it is turned off to cool the init which is nice if you have children you have to worry about. I dont, but I like the safety aspect of it. If you expect whisper quiet, don't buy it. But again, it's just normal space heater noise. Not super loud. If it helps to heat the room without draining my wallet, I'm happy Read more

My bathroom is always cold. We got single digit temperatures for days and it made it very uncomfortable to go to the bathroom and use it... So I went online and I found this and I got it and it's working perfect the bathroom is so comfortable now it's comfortable take a shower very happy. It actually mean my entire floor warmer because it didn't take the heat from the other areas. Definitely good for a small area. Read more

I'm loving this little heater. It kicks out a lot of heat and I liked it so much that I ordered another one for my family van. It plugs right into my solar generator and I can run it for a couple of hours. Read more

Suprized how well this small heater works. I love that it both has a thermostat and is only 750 watts of power. I got it to use in a kitchen of an airbnb where I do not want guests to run a high power heater that would make my electricity bills too high. But it seems to put out as much heat as higher wattage heater would. It has a strong fan. It really makes the room feel comfortable. the thermostat works great. To find a heater with a digital thermostat that works on 750 watts is not easy but this one does it all and it is kinda cute. It also seems durable. Easy to operate. the remote works well too. Website does not state that the Good Housekeeping heater is not for use in bathrooms. I rated this with the lowest rating for one reason: The website description does not state this heater cannot be used in bathrooms. However, when it arrived I saw a CAUTION written on the outside of the box. It clearly states that this heater must not be used in bathrooms or laundry rooms or other moist places. I purchased it only for use in my bathroom. I completed the instructions to return it, free shipping, at Kohls or other places that require driving. Unfortunately, I don’t drive, am a senior, and I have to wait for someone to do me a favor and drop it off. This is extremely inconvenient. I did not just change my mind. The CAUTION statement was NOT on the website. This is not my fault. Amazon used to provide a postage paid label to attach to the box, and I would arrange for a Post Office pickup, or I could hand it to my mailman, with no charge for the return. Now Amazon will not provide a postage paid label for a post office pickup, and I would have to pay quite a lot to return it. I also think it is very unfair for Amazon to not provide a postage paid label so that I can leave the packages with for pickup by the post office, or for me to hand it to my post office mail carrier, free of charge. I use this in my basement bathroom. There's an outlet just outside the shower, so when you step out your greeted with a gentle warm breeze. When the door is closed warms it up in just a couple of minutes. Includes it's own remote. Read more
