He has hair down to the middle of his back and uses 3-4 hair ties when we go out. But at work he puts his hair in a bun with the hair tie and then a hairnet. It last all day. I have medium width locs , about shoulder length , and a regular hair tie just does not do it for me anymore. I could not find anything like these in the store, so I was super happy when I saw amazon carried these. They are perfect, they tie up all my locs without feeling too tight. I bought the GOODY Ouchless XL & Extra Thick Elastics for my wife, and she absolutely loves them! These are nice and they work well but they are VERY big. I know it says it is for thick hair but boy are they big. They work well for my daughter who has curly mixed hair and is pretty thick. But for someone like myself with medium hair, they are very big. Only recommend if you have very thick and probably even curly hair Read more
I absolutely love these hair ties. I have very thick hair and the regular hair ties can’t hold my hair throughout the day my pony tail just slowly starts falling out but these big ones do the opposite! I can wrapped it around my hair 3 times and my bun or ponytail hold for the entire day! I uploaded a picture so you can see the difference of size to the regular hair ties.
