I am a long time head band wearer and nice ones are hard to find. Often if the combs pull your hair back nicely and not pull, the headband itself is cheaply made and breaks after several uses. Then, the ones that are better made dont hold your hair back. The cloth or suede ones pull and break your front hairs so after so much time of using the same type, you have all these little baby hairs growing back. I very much recommend these! I have sort of thick wavy hair and these comb-like bands hold my hair back nicely and stay in place!!. They dont pinch the back of my ears and they dont give me a headache. Well done! Read more

They may be cheap, but they don't last long, no more than a day or two. As someone who loves to buy cheap products that last long and do their job, I am truly, truly disappointed. I have longer hair, so I usually wear a headband to prevent my hair from falling into my face, especially after showering. EVEN though I am very careful when putting it on, it cracks—there was even a time when I had a new headband on my wet hair, and it just snapped apart into 2 pieces on my head! These headbands have been a staple for me since the 1980s. They've changed. They used to be attractive with a tortoiseshell look now they are flat, transparent, and obviously plastic. They're thin to the point of breaking if expanded a little too far. The colors used to blend to your hair now they are a flat matte. I had high hopes for these headbands. I was going to use it for my dirty hair days when it's not newly washed just when I'm around the house doing what I need to do. The colors are classic and versatile, making them easy to pair with different outfits if I had to wear it out for a quick errand. However, I was disappointed by how tight and uncomfortable they feel despite being not so thick and very skinny. After just an hour of wearing one, I started getting a headache. That's faster than some other plastic headbands. But I guess I shouldn't have expected much because the price was quite cheap. The plastic material feels stiff and not flexible, which makes it hard to adjust for comfort. While they do hold my hair in place, the trade-off isn’t worth the discomfort.
