Works great if it is used for 'display only' but if a user has to be using the tablet while it is mounted on the stand, then it is a bit unstable and would need to hold the tablet to be steady. Read more

Very easy to assemble and put it in a suitcase, base is bit heavy for suitcase if you are checking in but you do need a heavy base for stability. 10 to 15 mins to assemble/disassemble using finger tightening, did not use the rollers to save time in assembly/disassembly. The height is not very tall of the overall unit if you plan to use it when running on a treadmill or where a taller functionality is desired but the head can be tilted, however not at an eye level. Is it 100% stable when using it, especially when using it at a trade show for customers to subscribe to your website. I think the answer is No but a little movement should be expected. The item came to us with a broken wheel and missing hardware. I have made requests to get the items replaced by the seller, lets hope they don't forget anything else! Looks like it was damaged in shipping or in the warehouse, was a huge whole in the box.. We purchased 3 of these this was the only one missing pieces. However an additional tool is needed to tighten the nuts that go on the main base, instructions say to hold it with your hand and tighten the top screw.. well I'm not able to stop the nut from spinning around and not tightening using my bare hands only. I looked at a lot of these stands and when reading the comments got turned off to buying any of them. This was recommended by a teacher as they use this one in her school and so I purchased it and am 100% satisfied with it. I got the locked variety as it is for my church’s use and so our IPad will stay on the stand at all times. It is sturdy so no tipping over and the goose neck feature is great. While relatively ok for the price point, the directions for assembly are poorly written. Some sort of sticker or marking should be made to differentiate which base foot goes over which as almost impossible to judge the actual height differential. The locking mechanism, while it works, really does not secure the tablet as one simply has to apply a minimal amount of pressure to the non-locking side of the tablet and can slide it out of the device rather easily. I will use it temporarily while I search for a better locking stand. Also, one could simple unscrew the gooseneck and take the gooseneck, holder and tablet with them. Bottom line, no real security. I bought this because I was tired of my iPad ending up getting knocked onto the floor. This holds it securely and it’s a perfect mate to my rolling desktop. I love the key lock and the metal “pocket,” and the flexibility of the arm. I only wish I’d bought it months earlier. Read more
