I bought this floor stand for my 8.0" Samsung Galaxy Tab4. The unit has a solid construction. None of the pieces feel flimsy and yet it's still pretty lightweight enough to pick up and move to a different room if I wanted. I like that the stand sits on 4 feet which gives it really great balance and I don't have to worry about it flopping over. The clamp/holder attachment actually didn't fit my 8 inch tablet so I emailed CTA Digital to ask if they sold an attachment that could fit it. They were very accommodating and sent me a smaller attachment that goes with a different product, and it fit my tablet perfectly. The company stands behind their product and I really appreciated that. The solid gooseneck along with the attachment that pivots really makes this floor stand the perfect tablet accessory for anyone. It's great for holding my tablet to do some work on the couch and the best solution for watching shows on my tablet in bed. I no longer have to be afraid that my tablet will slip out of my hands and slam onto my face! It's the best purchased have made for my tablet. Update: 8 months later, I can say that this is still one of the best purchases I've ever made. I've read a lot of reviews here that say the wheels pop off. Well, yes, the wheels can pop off because all you do to install them is slide the plastic caster into the metal track. If you knock into the stand with excessive force, the wheels can pop off. If you knock the stand over and it falls on the floor, the strange angle can pop the wheels off. If you put undue force on the stand (like your feet), the wheels will buckle out from the metal stand. The casters "snap" in with a little plastic notch and that's all that is holding them in. After the caster popped out once from knocking it over while vacuuming, I put the wheel back in but also had to tighten the grip of the metal around it a little bit. It's not rocket science, and it's not a deal breaker. Read more

I needed a stand to hold my iPad 12.9” so I could watch a show while walking. This is perfect. I no longer get vertigo from watching a show while the iPad is connected to the front of my walking pad. The stand does wobble on the carpet but I can remedy that by using furniture pads. But I don’t need to as I don’t touch the iPad while I am walking. The corner holders work well after fitting the iPad the first time. There is not slippage. The goose neck is amazingly sturdy. The overall quality is super! This far outshines the last one I bought for $135. At $25, I could not be happier. Read more

It was easy enough to put together for me, but I can see how others might struggle since the instructions are pretty bad. One major thing you need to be aware of when assembling is that the 2 metal bases need to be stacked properly or else the stand will wobble. One of them is slightly higher than the other, and this one needs to go on top of the shorter one. Read more

I had to get another stand when my iPad Air died. The stand I had for it would not fit the 12" size of the iPad Pro. Thanks to helpful Amazon reviewers, I decided this stand was the one to get. I couldn't be happier! I use it primarily for reading books on the Kindle app in bed. it's the perfect height. The height of my bed is about 28", and the height to the bottom edge of the iPad is 35" to be at eye level. The gooseneck is flexible and stays put. I can rotate the iPad 360 degrees easily. I'm not very mechanical so assembly was a bit of a challenge, but nothing I couldn't figure out through trial and error. This stand is quite a bit heavier than the previous one and very sturdy. The base is heavy so it doesn't tip over easily. I prefer that it doesn't have wheels because I don't want it to move around. When using the stand for FaceTime chats, I can adjust the height to my face level when seated. I wish everyone would do this. Who wants to chat with someone looking up their nostrils and double chins? Not I, that's for sure. In portrait orientation with the camera at the top is just perfect, almost like you're in the room with the person. The stand doesn't extend high enough to chat while standing, though, unless you're cool with the nostril view position. The corner grips hold the iPad very securely. The springs are pretty strong. Someone with limited hand strength might have a problem with them. I haven't checked to see if they can be loosened. Read more

I’ve ordered a total of 12 tablet stands both clip/clamp types and stand alones for my obnoxiously heavy tablet. All the clamp types failed. As for the stand alones, this is the only one in which the gooseneck can be set in any direction, without tipping over. It’s easy to adjust the height. The only inconvenience is adjusting the screw connecting the gooseneck to the tablet frame. You need to use the L wrench but if you tighten it just right it can be adjusted by hand and still stay in place. The parts on this one are well made and heavy duty compared to all the other models I’ve tried. I’m finally glad I found one I can keep! Read more

Works pretty well for my ipad that has a thinner case, however it does not fit a thicker child’s ipad that has a thick case. Will work with different tablet sizes from Ipad Mini to the larger Ipad Pros. But will not fit most phones. Phones are too small to fit the holder. It has a metal base and metal pole, so appears pretty sturdy. Very convenient for holding my ipad to read music sheets or watching videos while playing instruments. Overall good product as advetised and easy to assemble. The tools are included so makes it convenient. Read more
