I wanted a stand that would allow me to prop my new 14-inch tablet on my lap without resting on my arthritic hand. This works beautifully. I love that the pen is simple to retrieve and pivoting the screen from landscape to portrait is smooth as silk. It is a bit heavy, but that's just what it needs to allow the pivoting and tilt functions while keeping the tablet in place. It's sturdy, very adaptable, and easy to carry from room to room without fear that it might dislodge from the stand. The frameless look is quite sleek and I also appreciate the air vents in the back. Update after 9 months of use: The tilt to move from portrait to landscape has loosened up rather suddenly and I can't seem to see a way to tighten it. I saw that another reviewer mention the same thing. There is no access for product support or way to contact the manufacturer through Amazon or otherwise. For the price, I would think it should outlast my tablet, but not so. Read more

This is a great stand but I think they could have made it a slightly less perfect fit. It ONLY works with the specified tablet, so don't think it will work with the next version you buy. The cut outs are very specific. I feel like it could have been made more generically to future proof it. Read more
