This has worked perfectly, holding an iPad we were using for a Zoom meeting. I assume the metal part might not hold up in the long run (because of all the stress on the metal at the base) but the base is made of thick wood and holds the iPad quite steadily. I attached the included wrench to the base so I can find it later when I need it, though it wasn't needed to use the stand. (The parts arrived assembled except for the vertical rod to be screwed into the base, which I assembled by hand.) Read more
