I bought this to take on my long walks and it has been perfect! I love how compact and light weight it is. It comes with an adjustable arm band which gives you the option of wearing it on your arm if you want and also comes with ear buds. The battery life is great. It has lasted me over a month without changing the batteries. I haven’t experienced any static and the reception has been spot on. The quality and durability of this mini radio is good. A radio with far more drawbacks than it is worth. - It eats batteries. I think it chewed through my first set in two weeks. Part of this problem is that it is never off. Off is a clock, but that must eat batteries too, or perhaps it periodically plays music to itself. I have had to keep the batteries separately, and put them in only before using it. It resets to 12:00 and the first - The buttons are very sensitive to touch, which means it changes mode, channel, tuning, with just a brush of touch. This means if bumped when on the arm, it has to be removed and reset. It can't be seen on the arm; if you put it so you could read it, it is bumped more. I have tried wearing it on the forearm, but that just means that I can readjust it when it inevitably changes. You cannot put it in a bag when not in use (except without the batteries in) because it would turn itself on and change channels all day. - On the bright side, it does get the station I like quite clearly. The arm band is nice to have, but it's bulky and because you can't put it in a pocket and expect it to play properly on the same station, you have to use it. No belt-clip alternative. - Read more

The item is really excellent in some ways. Great bass sound with booster button, but also clear sound off bass boost. I like the volume buttons. They appear to be good quality. FM reception is good. AM poor. The presets are difficult to set because you can't get to the desired preset for a station. There may be a way to do it, but I had difficulty getting to the preset number that I wanted to assign to a station. The biggest issue is the thin band for the arm band and that the buckle easily twisted making it difficult to get the armband on correctly. It may be better to remove the armband and store in a running belt or armband pouch, although less access to controls if this is done. The sound is great for blocking out noise at th gym. Sound quality is excellent. Great old school am-fm arm band radio. I'm so sick of high tech things like downloads and smartphones, this is the way to get great FREE music. Read more
