Actual merino wool, runs true to size, looks as depicted, and feels soft and warm. No complaints, recommended. Good value compared with higher cost name brands. Can be machine washed (cold) but I recommend drying flat rather than putting it in a dryer. Read more
If you’ve been shopping for Merino anything, you know that it tends to be quite expensive. I think a lot of times they are jacking up prices as they know the travel market tends to be specialty and fairly pricey. This is a very nice quality Merino, using 19.5-micron Merino Wool which makes it smoother and less itchy than other heavier weights. The sweater itself it fairly lightweight which makes it very versatile as a regulating layer and useful in many scenarios - which is the absolute key to travel wardrobes. It’s a really great value, I wouldn’t pass this one up. Save your money for your trip! Read more
This merino wool sweater fit as expected and has a nice soft feel. It’s stylish and was perfect for an autumn trip to Scotland. It’s thick enough to provide some warmth, and thin enough to be layered underneath other clothes. Read more
So comfy! Very soft and cozy sweater. Perfect on its own or for layering. Really pretty color. Very flattering on. A great basic wardrobe staple. I’d get one in every color. Read more
Not sure as advertised Didn’t say it was ribbed Doesn’t feel like Merlino wool Read more
GRACE KARIN Women's 100% Merino Wool Sweater This is a brand I like to order because I have been pleased with their clothing products 9 out of 10 times. I figure the one that was poorly made was just a bad day for someone, and we’ve all had bad days so forgive and forget, I say! Anyway, this sweater is made of wool but it is really a lightweight wool. I looks like it could be heavy based on the weaving/design but it isn’t. It is Merino Wool, which is a particular type that does well in clothing pieces. This sweater is very soft. It looks like it could be scratchy but it is not. I’d say it is one of the softest things I own. It is crew neck and long sleeved, so best for late fall or winter. You could use it as a pullover sweater or on its own. It says it is machine washable but I am afraid to try it! I will have to update this review after I do! It looks nice enough for work and is good for casual situations too. Right now I would say I recommend this sweater but I have yet to launder it. Read more
Nice sweater, but not what I paid for so I am DISAPPOINTED. I purchase Merino products ALL - THE -TIME. This sweater does not look, feel, or behave like 100% Merino and, while I think there may be Merino in it, I do not believe it is 100% pure. Based upon a “burn test”, I suspect the material is a mixture with natural or semi natural product (viscose, rayon, etc). I do wish Amazon would do 3rd party testing on products to validate when sellers are professing 100% purity. Read more
