True to size and quality fabric. This skirt is lined with a silky, knee length underskirt of the same color and has side pockets. The waist is made of wide elastic and is very comfortable. It's style is reminiscent of the Victorian era in it's looks because of the wide sweep and floor length. This is a well made garment with a soft feel and mid weight fabric. At 5'7" it's about three inches too long for me so I took some hemming tape and an iron and took it up that way. This skirt Exceeded my expectations. The green color is beautiful. I am 5 feet 7 inches. Weighing 125 pounds and the fit, medium, is perfect. The length hit right to my ankles, which is exactly what I wanted. I wanted a Long maxi skirt not a midi length. The fabric is light/medium and washes well without having to use an iron. I am very happy with the skirt!! I plan on wearing it to a concert, and it will be perfect for that event. The videos for this skirt advertise it well. For the price, the fabric is a decent quality. It may be see through for lighter colors, but I ordered the navy skirt and didn't notice that it was see through. For shorter ladies...I am about 5'2" and the small skirt fit me well length-wise. This is very lightweight.Well made little peasant skirt. I bought it to go underneath one of my peasant dresses. So you wouldn't see my legs. But I have already worn it to church with acute little blouse. It's light enough for summer. But definitely can be layered for a costume. Very versatile. It does not have pockets.I wish it did.
