Item has no dedicated breath box causing the material to lay flat against your mouth and nose, which causes the item to restrict the airflow during normal breathing. Secondly, when putting a helmet on, the item will be pushed down below your mouth causing you to have to readjust it. The corrective action for this would be to include a hat that will go over that air flap, which will stop the item from being pushed out when putting a helmet on. Read more

I'm a little confused on this one. The item I got IS NOT A BALACLAVA (covers my bald head), but is actually a gaiter (neck and face). The company makes both products and my box is marked balaclava, but it is a gaiter. The product description page has several colors that ARE balaclavas in the picture, but the gray/black and pure black are actually gaiters in the description. If I'd paid for it, I'd return it so that's an advantage a buyer will have over a Vine reviewer. You can see the difference in their own manual, so pay close attention when ordering. I suspect they'll fix this and none of this will matter. SO, I'll review the gaiter as best I can. It's similar to the brand's other products and the battery is the same as the other product I've reviewed, so I can have a spare battery if I'm only using one of them. While my scarf is intended more for inactivity in cold weather like watching a game, my gaiter or balaclava is for cold activity, or at least that's my plan. The gaiter fits a little tight, but I do have a big head. It's not uncomfortably tight, but it's pretty snug to pull over my head and then snug on my neck. The heating element AND battery are on the back of the neck, slightly off center, so it takes some getting used to. It's also "crinkles" when you move so more getting used to. The heating element across the back of the neck feels good there, but that's not generally where I'm cold. I'd have loved something on the cheeks/face or a "defroster" like in where it frosts up in front of the mouth. That's where it gets cold! The battery is about the size of a deck of cars, but a little thinner and a little heavier. But it's secured pretty wall by the snug gaiter against the neck, so it stays in place while you move around. When it's REALLY cold, any warmth is good and can spread out, at least in your head, but the back of my neck is easily protected with a hoodie. In this case, I get nothing for ears or top of my head (because it's a gaiter rather than balaclava) which is disappointing. Be careful what you're ordering. Look at the picture to go with your color to make sure you're getting what you want. I'd love to receive the balaclava as gift for hunting, snow blowing/shoveling and going to football games. I think the warmth anyplace would help, but I'd prefer more around the front, although I can twist it around I supposed. Three temp settings. although they are impossible to see when you're wearing it so somebody will need to tell you or use your phone camera to know which setting your on if you want to extend the battery life. I’ve had this Graphene Heated Balaclava/Neck Gaiter for a couple of months now, because with heated gear I’ve learned the real test is whether the battery still holds up over time. A lot of products like this start strong & then the battery quickly goes downhill- that hasn’t been the case here at all. On a full charge, we consistently get around 5–6 hours of heat, which honestly feels like the perfect amount. The heat is warm without being overwhelming & distributes evenly, making a big difference in cold weather. I originally got this as a gift for my partner along with a fuzzy one for me & he says It’s comfortable, effective, & has held up very well over the last several months with regular use. I’ll be honest- $60 feels a little steep at first glance. That said, it does work, the battery life has stayed solid, & it hasn’t shown signs of wearing out or losing performance. For something that actually delivers on warmth & durability, I’d say it’s been worth it! Read more
