I've been using a pair of old fishing nail clippers as my primary nail clippers for the last 20 years, they certainly work but recently the hook eyelet cleaner gouged my fiancé's finger and made it bleed so figured it was time for an upgrade. Got these and honestly they are the best and smoothest nail clippers I have ever used. They're silky smooth in action and the cutting surface is exception. They're a bit on the larger size, but they does come with the benefit of increased leverage, so it takes almost no "force" to clip a nail. Even big toenails get clipped smooth as butter. Honestly, the brushed satin finish on the metal also feels luxurious. While these are not cheap, they certainly live up to the higher quality expectations for the price point, they have exceed mine. Best clippers over come across. They are sharp and precise, cutting effortlessly through nails thick and thin. Cuts nails with more precision, control, and ease (almost no pressure needed) than the EDJY, so the blade is very sharp and has the right amount of leverage. Solid feel to it and feels quite durable. Just the right size for me; I prefer the toenail size clippers because I just find them easier to manipulate. The file looks narrow (which might make it awkward to use), but it's not an issue for me because I never use the files built into clippers and instead opt for a dedicated glass nail file. Read more

After frustrating experiences with cheap stamped-metal plated clippers, I decided to give these a try. These are well crafted stainless steel. The smooth action and sharp blades make for secure, effortless cutting. The machined nail file works well and is sure not to wear out. Keep in mind that these Green Bell clippers are exactly the same as the Seki Edge clippers, except that the GB clippers (a few dollars cheaper) are for the Japanese market, and the SE clippers are for the US market. Some of the best nail clippers i've used. They cut smoothly without an issue or jagged edges. I docked one star because rotating the arm around from storing to clipping positions feels horrible, it's not smooth at all lol. Doesn't impact the function in the slightest, but I think about it every time I use it. Read more
