These nail clippers are the VERY BEST clippers I have ever used. They are perfect for finger nails, quick to cut the nail and easy and comfortable to use. Read more
I was frustrated every time I had to trim nails, because none of the several trimmers (at least 4) I had worked right. My dry slick hands slid off the handles and the damn things just wouldn't clip through the nails. Anyway, I watched some YouTube reviews and this one was judged best in a particularly good comparison video. I couldn't be more impressed with these clippers! No problem holding onto them; the shape of the handle eliminated that problem. And these trimmers are SHARP! They clip through my nails (and my wife's) with almost no effort. They open wide, too, so it's easy to get them onto thick toe nails. There's even an area on the handle to file the nails after trimming. Though I prefer to use a regular emery board, it's still handy. I hope this helps anyone looking to get a GOOD trimmer. I was so impressed with mine, I actually bought a second one to give as a somewhat usual gift to my son-in-law for Father's Day. He's someone who appreciates a quality tool. Read more
The blades are not completely aligned, the top blade is slightly shorter. The clipper is still is very sharp and I like the larger size to hold and can be used for toenails. Read more

It’s not a small clipper but the build quality is excellent. Not great for kids or small hand, but it’s great for “normal” sized (or larger) hands. Very sharp and well built. Read more

I bought the previous version when in Japan on business in 2001. A few weeks ago after a quarter-century of service as my only fingernail and toenail clippers, part of the fulcrum gave way, and I could no longer get a clean cut. Was really glad to find this upgraded version (they incorporated a file). All too often, as time goes on, manufacturers "value engineer" and the quality goes down. Not in this case. Thank You "Green Bell" of Japan! Also...am dismayed by the several negative reviews claiming "it doesn't have an attachment to catch clipped nails" or such. To be clear: The product description does not claim to include such a feature. If you want that, buy something that includes that. But, don't complain that these great clippers don't have that!!!
