The product description states that this slow cooker is programmable. It is NOT proramnable, but it is a very good slow cooker (I think they should refund me 5 or ten dollars, since I bought it believing it's prorannable). *Side note: the 6 qt by Green Life IS progammable, and has three modes - low, medium and hot* As you can see, I do not remove product stars for Amazon errors. This is a great mid-size slow cooker which I unheaitantly recommend. I already have the 6 quart, which i bought because it had all the features I wanted (at a good price), but especially for the light weight insert (pot). While the 3.5 quart is not programmable and only has two modes - low and high - plus warm, it still meets my needs better than any others I looked at. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is such an amazing value and I absolutely love that I can cook and sauté on the oven. Honestly, I could just use it solely as a sauté and baking pot! So far I have only used it to make some loaded baked potato soup, but my goodness what a game changer. It reduces the amount of time it takes to cook. It also reduces the cleanup time because you have to use less pots and pans. I love that I can just pop it into the crockpot and keep it warm so it’s ready for dinner. Versatile, can use it on the stovetop too. I make bone broth in it and leave it on all night without worrying that it will boil over or boil dry. And it’s lightweight! Cleans up easily too. It’s also very pretty on the countertop! Well worth the money over a crock pot situation. Read more

Fantastic. First of, it is super light in weight. Very easy to move around the counter. Operations are excellent. You get low, medium, and high settings, custom time cook, delay timer, and a keep warm setting. After it’s done cooking, it switches to the keep warm setting automatically. I absolutely love my GreenLife 3.5QT Slow Cooker! 💕 The pink color is super cute and looks great on my counter. It’s the perfect size for smaller meals, and I love that it’s non-toxic and PFAS-free. That gives me peace of mind when cooking. The ceramic bowl is easy to remove and clean, and I really like that I can use it on the stovetop or in the oven too. If you hesitate to use your slow cooker because the crock is too heavy, this slow cooker is the perfect answer! It’s easy to maneuver and very easy to clean. I hand wash it very quickly with no struggles. I have now used it to make meat sauce (for pasta), chili, and stews. I love the simplicity of the selections (old school!) and they work just as they should for me. I still prefer to sear in a regular pan and transfer it over, but that is preference. As I always did with traditional slow cookers (before there were circuit boards and digital controls), I usually start a meal on high for 5-10 minutes then switch to low. I have a set of nice silicone utensils (ladle, spoon, slotted spoon) that I use, so I have no worries about scratches or chips. This size, 3.5 qt is perfect for one or two people to have a meal and leftovers for future meals. Because this one is so lightweight, it’s easy for me to store and pull out to use. I was delighted to see this pretty, small slow cooker, advertised as programmable ("GreenLife 3.5QT Slow Cooker, Non-Toxic PFAS-Free Ceramic Nonstick Removable Interior Bowl, Programmable, Keep Warm, Stovetop & Oven Safe, Dishwasher Safe Parts, Glass Lid, Pink") and with a video showing a digital time readout. I work an hour and a half from home, and have a wonderful stroke patient with attendant memory difficulties living with me. Having her use stove burners unsupervised to heat her meals is not advised. A programmable small slow cooker, where I could put her noon meal in before I left for work at 6:30am and have it hot for her at noon, would be ideal! Unfortunately, this was not the answer, despite the advertising. It's a pretty, small, oval, regular slow cooker. Especially unfortunately for me, I'd promised her she'd have her hot lunch ready tomorrow in the new slow cooker while I was at work. Back it goes... and I'm additionally irritated that I have to pack it up again to send it back when it wasn't advertised correctly, and I depended on that advertising! Both of us very disappointed...
