Very easy to use. Rice 🍚 is perfect. We add 5 min to the white rice cooking time & its been Perfect since we figured out that trick 👍. We wanted a smaller rice cooker, this serves 1- 2 ppl well. I use this rice cooker almost daily to cook steelcut oats. It cooks them perfectly and they stay warm and very good for 2 hours or more. I can get the oats ready the night before and set a timer for the next morning. I have good luck cooking brown rice, white rice, couscous and quinoa in this also. This little rice cooker is great! It's both cute and functional! I recently started watching what I eat and paying more attention to my food, and decided I should get a rice cooker to help introduced more grains into my diet. I bought a cheap one before I got this one, and while I still use it, it was still bigger than I needed and would burn the bottom of the rice too. It also boiled over often, and just annoyed me. So I started looking into a higher end rice cooker and found they get quite expensive, especially if you want a "Smart" or "Fuzzy logic" version. Of which is really the main feature of higher end rice cookers. Fuzzy logic is just a name for a rice cooker that uses a small computer to help decide whether or not it needs more heat, more time and even adjusts to how much moisture, more so on the expensive versions. (Conveniently this one also has that ability to adjust it's parameters for better rice!) Then I found this little guy! And it's perfect! Small enough I can cook my own portion of rice, and still big enough I can make enough for 2-3 people. All while not boiling over all the time, especially with brown rice. I just made wild rice in it too and it came out perfect. My rice always comes out perfect now. It's also very simple to use. Options from White and brown rice, quinoa, and steel cut oats. I've tried them all and have good results each time. For wild rice I just used brown rice. You can also adjust the cook time for each individual setting too. I appreciate how fast it cooks too. If your in a rush for brown rice, you can use the white rice setting, and still get good results! More importantly, I have yet to ever have burned rice! It has only lightly toasted to bottom once, but that's because I left it on warm for a while and is more my fault than it's. It is also very easy to clean. The non stick helps a lot, and being ceramic I don't worry too much. Everything that news cleaning is easy to take apart and put back together again as well. Overall I am very happy so far! I like for the money I paid, not bad. I love that it's made from non toxic materials, that's extremely important. I like the non stick insert, makes it super easy to clean. I wish it had the capability, or technology to identify through weight, how long rice needs to steam, that function would be awesome. Great color, easy simple buttons, compact size. I bought it so that my 4yo could cook bc he loves helping in the kitchen. He learned how to make rice and steam vegetables and is so excited when he uses it. the rice comes out fluffy and cooks well so far. It’s on the pricier end for the size but it’s worth it. I love this rice cooker - it is the perfect size and easy to use; but it has not lasted. I bought it in January - so just about three months ago. I am very careful in my use and cleaning. I only use the plastic "spoon" they provide. I use a dishcloth, and then put it in the dishwasher. But, even with my careful approach, the inside is already chipping and the non-stick is compromised. There doesn't seem to be any way to order a replacement container. So I am disappointed, to say the least. I really dislike the concept of needing to buy a whole new cooker, just because the container has started to chip. *Added after working with customer service* I contacted customer service to see if I could purchase a replacement inner container. Instead of answering that question they made me go through the warranty claim process and submit photos. NOTE: I was NOT submitting a warranty claim. I was just trying to find out if I could BUY a replacement container. As I told the agent - I have never worked so hard to try and spend my money on someone's product. Instead I was told the chipping was "normal" and because of the fact it was a ceramic coating, there was no risk to me or potential heath hazard because as they said: "Chipping up to 1 to 2 mm is a perfectly normal occurrence because Ceramic coatings are very hard – i.e. in the same way as Porcelain Ceramics are hard but not very flexible. Secondly, unlike with PTFE coatings, Thermolon does not require any chemical adhesive primer to stick to the pan. Thermolon’s adhesion relies solely on roughening the pan’s surface before the coating is applied, which creates a natural lock and key adhesion. Any imperfections, such as chipping, are considered a reflection of the hardness of Ceramic coatings and not having to rely on chemicals for adhesion. As the product remains perfectly safe for use if it chips, it does not require a replacement. In fact, the hardness of the coating is one of its strengths because it will be less prone to scratching during daily use. The great thing is that our products do not contain any PTFE or other PFAS, and they are free of Lead and Cadmium." I pointed out I was in manufacturing myself and I knew spin when I saw it, and once again asked if I could purchase a replacement container. Only after asking the same question in three emails did the company finally say, no they did not sell replacement parts. If the company can't answer a straightforward question or stand behind their products by offering replacement parts, then don't waste your money with that Company. I wish I had know all this before I bought the product. So, I am writing a long review to help others make a truly informed decision. Read more
