This pan is perfect for me. It’s small (5”) but works great with one egg. I think it looks very attractive and I appreciate that it is well made and balanced. I followed the directions—preheat on low before adding butter or oil (no cooking spray as it ruins the nonstick finish). I did everything exactly as directed and had perfect nonstick results. It helps that I am an experienced cook. Cooking eggs using any method can be challenging for beginners no matter what the utensil used. My little egg pan was just large enough to cover the flame on my gas stove burner. I used the lowest possible setting throughout. About midway, I covered the pan with a small square of foil to serve as a lid. This helped cook the egg just the way I like it—sunny side up. I used a small silicone spatula to nudge it onto my plate…the directions say to use nonabrasive cooking utensils as hard surfaces can damage the nonstick surface. The pan is not scratch resistant. The photos in negative reviews are a result of high heat, lack of cooking know-how, and not following the instructions. I hand wash my little egg pan and store it in its cute manufacturer’s box to protect it. I expect it to last for years. It has no odor, works as advertised and is a great value for the money. I love my little egg pan! I intend to use it to make myself a burger, mini omelette, bagel sandwich, egg muffin sandwich and more creative ways to make a mini pancake. My only regret is not buying one sooner. Read more

I freaking love this pan! I use it daily! It’s the perfect size for a single egg or half a grilled cheese. It’s a simple clean up and it really hold up to the nonstick claim. I fried cheese in it once and nothing stuck. I would recommend getting a tiny spatula to go with it. Using a normal size spatula may be challenging. Read more

The GreenPan Mini 5-inch Round Egg Pan is absolutely the perfect tool for solo cooking—it’s small, mighty, and makes a fantastic breakfast companion. The size is clearly its main feature, and it excels at its intended purpose: cooking a single egg, omelet, or small pancake to perfection. Its compact dimensions prevent your egg whites from spreading out too thin, resulting in a beautifully formed, thick fried egg that fits perfectly on an English muffin or toast. Read more

My husband wanted a small skillet to cook his breakfast eggs in and this mini pan is just right. It is non stick and I chose to hand wash it after using instead of putting into the dishwasher, because it is that easy. It was exactly what he wanted and it works perfectly on our smooth top stove. I use this little pan every day to make 2 eggs. One at a time. They cook quick. It's a few months old now and still looks brand new. I've never used metal utensils on it, just a silicone spatula. Not a mark or scratch on it. Only butter or olive oil also. Directions say no cooking sprays so I dont use them. Ive only used it for eggs but they've never stuck to it. They just slide right out. I use this pan several days a week for eggs. You can cook just one at a time and it's perfect for a sandwich on an English muffin, or you can cook two or three at a time and they turn out just as well. Low and slow is the key. I am also careful to wash it with a soft sponge so the coating stays nice. I do use a tiny bit of butter in it (probably less than a 1/4 of a teaspoon), and nothing has ever stuck (even a little bit). I would love it if they made one with a tiny lid to go with it so you could steam the eggs where they could cook all the way through without flipping them (flipping is the only hard part since the pan - the pan is so small that it's hard to get a spatula in there). Perfect for frying a single egg. Follow instructions for Green Pan use and they work as advertised. About 90 seconds empty on warm burner, then add a little butter or oil....no SPRAY non-stick garbage. Add egg (have only tried one so far as I have a 7" pan for 2 eggs) and a teeny bit of water dripped around the edge. I like mine over medium and have flipped with decent success...a bit of butter/water ended up on countertop but egg landed perfectly in pan center. Have also used a SMALL silicon turner and it worked pretty well. No broken yokes yet. Egg for egg sandwich, plop onto hash browns or hash, or make eggs Benedict. I am still searching for a small enough lid but have a larger one that works OK and does not touch the burner. Also, sits nice and flat on a solid burner and no threat of tipping off. Read more
