The media could not be loaded. I have a few Gua Sha similar shaped tools that are made of traditional buffalo horn and jade that I use on myself. I am a Fitness Coach and and Exercise Specialist at a physical therapy clinic, so I have an interest in learning more about IASTM. I picked this up as I wanted something more professional than the other tools that I have. There are many different tool shapes and sizes. What you use depends on what area of the body you are intending to target. This has a nice sized multi use small tool that works well on the face (as advertised) as well as for areas that need more precision, such as the neck, scalp, hands, feet, and arms. The large tool works great on the legs and gutes. There are also pointy corners on it to get into knotted areas. Pros: - There are professional quality tools, They are hefty and solid. - There two tools let you do both detail work, as well as broad work. - The double bevel edge allows it to glide smoothly over the skin surface and be it used in two directions. - The double bevel also makes this a more gentler tool so you can use the smaller tool on the face and neck. - It is super easy to clean, and works well with lotions - The stainless steel is great because it resonates, so you can feel what is going on in the tissue better than with other material (such as crunchies or an adhesion) Cons: - The stainless steel can get slippery with lotion. While the larger tool has a handle, which helps some. there are is no added grip to them. Overall, my issue with this tool is pretty minor, with lots of pros. So far I am very happy with purchase so I am giving it 5 stars. it works great. REVIEW SUMMARY: My goal for each review is to list both the pros and cons of the product as I see it. - I reserve 4 (like) and 5 (love) star ratings only for products I would either recommend to others or buy for myself. - 5 stars are specifically reserved for products that excite or amaze me, are exceptionally high quality, and/or work perfectly. - 4 stars are for items that mostly work and that I like, but there are some improvements that could be made. - 3 stars (it's ok) I would recommend with reservations. These stainless steel Gua sha tools for lymphatic drainage, etc., come in the nicest snapped bag, feels a little like stiff felt. These pieces are silver, even though for some reason my picture makes them look gold. Each piece has some heft to it, feels like quality, and it is so smooth against my skin. I’ve never used something like this before but interested in doing so, to see what benefit I can get from it. I know it might take a period of use before seeing results, but I’m looking forward to having a reduction in the size and puffiness of the bags under my eyes, though the tool may be fighting with my lack of sufficient sleep. Using the larger one for potential cellulite reduction. We’ll see. I do wish it came with an instruction card, so I didn’t have to look online to see how to use these tools. These are very well made and durable Gua sha tools that feel good on the skin, cool and smooth to touch, and I definitely recommend, especially considering you get two pieces at the low listed price. HTHLNG Gua Sha Facial Tool Set is very, very nice. I have been really impressed by the quality of these tools. They appear to be real stainless steel and good quality. I find them fairly easy to use, particularly the smaller tool meant for the face. I found a video on the internet to help me learn how to use the larger tool more effectively, and that really helped. I feel like these tools really help with breaking up drainage and--in the case of the larger tool--working through muscle knots and tightness. They even come with a nice carrying case. These stainless-steel Gua Sha tools look and feel high-quality, and they’re great for cooling, lymphatic drainage, and muscle recovery. The smaller one is super easy to use, especially around the face and neck—it glides smoothly and feels amazing. The larger tool, though, takes some practice to use correctly. Its shape makes it a bit tricky to control if you have hypermobile joints or finger pain, so I recommend going slow and experimenting with grip and pressure. Just started trying some of these. I had never used one of these types of tools, so my 5 star rating is based on limited knowledge of how effective it is and more so on the quality and price. When I ordered it, I assumed it was going to be thin and chinsy based on the price. I was very wrong. This thing has some real weight and is larger than expected. It feels like a weapon. The edges are nice and rounded/polished. It comes with a decent pouch. My wife tried the larger one on her legs and the small one on her face. She says it's good. A little oil makes it move smoother on the skin. I tested another one from a different company that cost the same as this one but only included the small tool. This set is a way better deal. Both massage tools are smooth and have a good weight to them. The shapes are comfortable to hold. All the edges are well rounded. There are no stamps or marks on the tools, but the listing states they are 304 stainless steel.
