I recently picked up the GuanTing 12 V 2 A (24 W) universal adapter for a couple of small gadgets in my home—an LED strip light and a WiFi router—and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s turned out to be a smart, no-fuss power solution with more reliability than many budget adapters I’ve tried. What I Loved Universal input (AC 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz) means I can use it both at home and abroad without needing a separate converter. The output (DC 12 V at up to 2 A) gives me plenty of headroom for devices that normally draw around 1.0–1.5 A—a comfortable margin for continuous use. The adapter feels well built. The housing is solid, the barrel connector is snug and tight, and I found no wobble or loose fit when plugged in. Safety features are clearly included—things like over-voltage, short-circuit and over-current protection are listed in the specs. Versatility was a bonus: it came with multiple interchangeable plug tips in some listings, making it easy to match different devices. Performance has been flawless so far—my LED strips are bright and stable, and the router shows no signs of power sag, noise, or overheating after hours of runtime. Final Verdict If you’re hunting for a reliable, affordable 12 V adapter for smaller electronics—routers, cameras, LED lights, and other gear—the GuanTing 12 V/2 A unit is a solid pick. It offers clean, steady power, built-in protections, and versatility. I’d definitely buy it again or recommend it to anyone who needs a dependable 12 V power solution. Read more

Got this for my omlet automatic chicken door. It’s wild how those "battery-efficient" gadgets suddenly start draining power like they’re running a marathon. Replacing them every week is definitely not sustainable, especially with how much a pack of AA batteries costs these days. Saving about $20 compared to the official website is a huge win, and having that next-day delivery probably saved you another week of battery swaps. Plus, having those extra adapter tips is a total lifesaver. There is nothing worse than getting a power cord only to find out the barrel jack is a millimeter off, so having those backups definitely gives some peace of mind for the next project. Read more

Perfect replacement piece with several options. The adapter works fine, the item I bought it for needs repairs that have nothing to do with the power supply. Read more

I was looking for something to charge my jump box after losing my original charger. The type C port won't work for charging. This was a shot in the dark, and it works. That's all I care about. Read more

Ordered this as a universal replacement charger for an older, no-longer-manufactured Orion Dynamo Pro portable battery. Packaged well, delivered quickly, lots of different connectors. Well made. And then discovered the 12V 2a charger needs to be a 15V 2a to get this specific battery to charge. It’s the connectors that make it ‘universal,’ and the voltage is something entirely different. They weren’t compatible, and I clearly don’t speak ‘electrician.’ Sending it back, and already ordered the 15V 2a version. It arrives Thursday!! Yay!! Read more

This is an after market 2 amp power supply. If you happen to need such a thing, it appears to be a good deal. The 1st (12volt) version of this power supply I purchased was used to "fix" a 14TB disk drive I have hooked up to my XBox (as a large drive to store games on). However, this drive eventually "died", and replacing the original power supply with this one "fixed" it (so likely the problem was that the OEM power supply eventually died from use). As to the 2nd (5volt) power supply, it was used to "fix" a small (20gb) disk we purchased 20+ years ago to take with us on trips. Since my wife recently found this disk (but not the original power supply for it), she was interested in finding out what old data may be on that disk. After hooking the disk up to this after market power supply, I was able to read that disk and recover pictures from a family trip made years ago. Since I have now copied the data off this obsolete disk, I will likely retire this obsolete disk and likely repurpose the 5volt supply as just another USB charger around the house (since the 5volt supply did come with USB charging ends).
