I bought this player to give to my aging parent to play audio books. I was pleased with how quickly it shipped. It comes in a nice box (easy to wrap) with a remote and a power cord. The buttons are large and operation is straight-forward. It seems sturdy and well-made. I like the crisp white color and the green glow behind the CD. I am pleased with the sound; it is more powerful than I expected. I experienced no problems with disks skipping. The only complaint I have so far is the CD starts to spin before it plays and if you decide you want to switch CDs right away, there does not seem to be a way to stop the player quickly. So, I simply shut it off to remove the CD. If the company wanted to blow my socks off, they could include earphones with the device too. Read more

Lately I've been taking my kid out to Goodwill and other donation stores and we've been picking up CDs. To her it's a novelty (music! on a piece of silicone!), but to me it's definitely all about nostalgia and sentimentality, as I slowly try to piece together my CD collection from my youth. While my older car has a CD player built-in, I didn't have a convenient way to jam out to Hootie and the Blowfish (yes, that's the disc in the photo) at home, and this CD player was the perfect addition. Very small footprint with a good sound quality, and it's USB powered so I have some flexibility in terms of plugging it in. It also can be used as a bluetooth speaker (but there's probably better options than this), has FM Radio capabilities, and has a USB input for playing flash drives. The remote is a nice touch so I can pause the music for work meetings without much trouble. My only minor gripe is that this could use an equalizer, or at least some way to adjust bass and treble. This really works great. I had my doubts but the ease to work and sound quality are pretty good. You still have to plug it in. It's portable since it's small and you can carry it around, but it has to be plugged in. I think I'll get another one and go to Good Will for some cd's. Read more

This was a gift for my 12 year old granddaughter . She was happy with it and the sound is ok . She’s into old school so she was excited that it was easier to play than the stereo that she listens to her albums on . She was surprised that she could skip a song with the remote unlike her lp’s . Ok...so I really wasn't expecting much out of this CD player. I just wanted to be able to play the many CDs that I have again without spending a whole lot of money. I must say though, I have been really impressed by this CD player! Pros: #1. it plays all the CDs that I have popped in with no issue whatsoever! #2. I can connect it via Bluetooth with an old Kplish speaker that I bought to use with an Ipod many moons ago! (FYI...already had a bluetooth adapter for the Kplish) Man, that was really really a win for me! #3. It has FM radio!!! When I get tired of listening to CDs, I can just tune into the radio! It may not be able to tune into many popular stations initially, but I believe that reception depends upon the placement of the device. #4. The player comes with a built in speaker that is not too shabby! Sometimes I forget to the Klipsh via bluetooth If I have placed the CD on pause for an extended period of time and I just wind up listening to the internal speaker without realizing it! #5. It even plays music that you may have on a USB drive! #6. great price! Now for the Cons: #1. Loading the CD is a little awkward because the cover/door does not open all the way. The CD Player is upright so the door to the CD compartment has to open 'outward' and you have to kind of slide the CD in between the door and the player. #2. The remote kind of sucks! It worked really well for a short time but now...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have changed the batteries that it came with but to no avail...it still only works some of the time. Overall, this CD player is truly a must have purchase if you own any old CDs that you would like to hear again! Even if it only lasts for six months...(truly hope that it lasts much longer than six months of course) I would have to say that I would purchase it again lol because in my opinion, its a great all around deal.
