Good quality. The fabric is light weight - exactly as I expected for the price. Light weight makes it easier to install and remove. The inner lining is soft cotton fabric - not very thick but does an adequate job of not scratching the paint. SOME INSTRUCTIONS WOULD HAVE BEEN APPRECIATED! For those who haven't yet purchased, there are 6 orange stripes sewn in. Two on the two 'pockets' for the mirrors. And 4 for the corners. I found this out by trial and error. I plan to label the 4 corners with a black fabric marker. My 2016 BMW X1 has a roof rack and the cover fit over it just fine. There are 3 straps that pass under to prevent the cover from inflating like a balloon and floating away. The front and back are very easy and effective. The one in the middle needs to be tossed underneath, as you would expect. I plan to sew a fishing weight to it, to make it toss easier. All in all, this is a great cover for the price. I purchased this cover back in March for my 2024 Tesla Model Y Performance, and it’s held up incredibly well! Living in Florida, I needed something durable enough to protect my car from intense sun, heavy rain, dust, and the occasional stormy day and this cover delivers on all fronts. The custom fit is spot-on. It hugs the shape of the Model Y perfectly without feeling too tight or too loose. I really appreciate the zipper on the driver’s side for easy access without removing the whole cover. The reflective strips and double-stitched seams give it a quality, well-made feel, and the windproof straps keep it secure even on windy days. It also has breathable vents that prevent condensation from building up, and the elastic hem keeps it snug on the bottom. I haven’t had any issues with fading or tearing after months of use. The cover is of high quality in terms of material. However, it is a bit heavy and I would have bought a more lightweight cover had I known this. That’s not good nor bad but this is probably the thickest/heaviest cover that is reasonable for a cover. Given that, it is a bit difficult to get on and off with one person but if this was what you are in the market for, you will be happy. I needed something that shipped quickly so I was willing to compromise. The construction seems solid and I imagine it will hold up for a long time. My main issue was fitment. It is tight lengthwise, and short. It needs to be adjusted more than necessary because of this. It is just not great fitting for it to be made for my vehicle. If it was universal, then I would think it fit fine but given I use it everyday, it’s a bit frustrating. I have other covers I bought decades ago that fit way better to other cars and though I wasn’t expecting a perfect fit, this isn’t what I expected. All and all a hurried decision got me a decent enough product but at premium price point where I expected a bit more. Read more
