If you are in need of an immersion blender that isn’t too pricey but still works well, this is a good option. The handle, where the motor is, is heavy duty. There is some weight to it, and it feels well built and sturdy. These blenders can be used in tons of ways, and so far I’ve found it very good at blending up frozen fruit for smoothies as well as chopping onions and other ingredients for salsas and other recipes. I love the protective cover on the whirring mechanism so that I can use it in my nonstick pots and pans without concern that it will ruin them. I haven’t used the whipping attachment because I typically use another device for that purpose, but the other attachments do work well. The plastic containers are a little on the thin side, so I’m concerned about longevity, but so far they are working well. Read more

This is a very handy and very powerful immersion blender. This is more handy than getting out a full-sized blender. It had plenty of power and attachments to make it great to keep in the kitchen. It has a very ergonomic grip, making it easy to hold and use. Cleaning is super easy and fast and the prices is not bad either. It has held up well to repeated uses over 3 months now. Read more

I love this thing. It took me a while to actually need it because with a newborn I was cooking less, and what I did cook was easy. However, I’ve been wanting to make more soups recently, and I like creamy soups. This is perfect for that. You can put your onion into the blender cup, and it ends up SMOOTH, but you can also blend for a little less time and it’s still chunky. Then the immersion blender attachment is wonderful, it made the creamiest seafood bisque. The attachments are easy to clean, but the blender cup cap needs to be hand washed because it fills with water if you put it in the dishwasher. Nothing about this product is heavy or bulky, which makes it is super easy to use. It is simple and functions just as it should! I love it so much! Read more

After using less expensive versions of immersion blenders, I was excited to give this one a try. I was hoping for less plastic pieces in the parts that interlock, but, lo and behold, they're pretty much all plastic here, too, meaning everything that drives your blending blades is going to wear out at that critical point. The "spring-loaded" neck is kind of cool, but when you're pushing it down, it's compressed to blend up what you're blending, so saying this feature will allow you to get into deeper cups to blend seems kind of silly. This thing DOES crush ice better than the average bear, everything has a higher sheen on it, and it's altogether sturdy. The question will be, how much longer will this REALLY last over something that costs a third or quarter as much? Read more
