It only took 2 days to arrive by FedEx and was well packaged. It’s a beautiful heavy duty gray chair. It doesn’t feel cheap! I assembled the chair with minimal difficulty using the tool that came in the packaging. I love the rubber wheels, and it rolls easily around the office on my laminate floors. The base of the chair is constructed of metal. There is no wobble. I love the fact that the chair arms can go up and down. The seat cushions are comfy and I can sit at my desk for hours. It’s very roomy, but I’m in the low 200s, and my spouse weighs about 180lbs. We are only 5’6”. We wanted “wiggle room”, thus we didn’t want an average size office chair. The chair at its highest height takes our feet off the floor. The lower height should be good for people under 5’5”. We use one of the middle height settings. 1. I only have 2 drawbacks. The chair at the time of purchase was $159 and 2 days later there was a $10 discount coupon…☹️. 2. The other con is the colors: I wanted a well-made chair with a similar base design, but it’s difficult to find a perfect color for my office in big and tall. I wanted beige, cream, or taupe, but it’s only available in black and gray. I might give up this chair to my spouse who loves it for the other office which is gray/black in color. This chair is for my home office and is replacing a Hon office chair that lasted over 25 years. This chair is nice and comfy. I wanted a heavy-duty chair because my grands like to swing around and go up and down and I wanted something that would last. Insert directions say “two people assembly recommended” but I did it myself. I struggled with the arm rests and back because I think the screw holes might be a fraction off, but in the end, it came together well. I removed one star only for that reason. I ordered 2 of these chairs. One is great! Well made, sturdy, comfortable and big enough for my generous sized butt. The other one came with 2 right arms and one of them was broken. I have it boxed and ready for shipping. If I can just get the seller to send me the return shipping label so I can return the broken one in the timeframe allotted, I can give them a higher star rating. Read more
This chair lives up to its name for holding strong for heavy people. I'm 6'2" and 270 lbs. The seat is very comfortable, but the back isn't high enough for me and if I lean back into it the head rest is around my shoulders with the lumbar support too far back to prevent me from being in a slouchy position, so I lean forward a lot. If you're under 5'10" you shouldn't have this issue. It's a great chair for big people, but not so much for tall people. I'll likely buy another chair that better fits my frame eventually; however, this chair is so well made that it's a shame to get rid of it. Read more
