I have really long, thick hair. It is so thick that my hairdresser recommended that I purchase a professional hair dryer so that I’m not spending my entire morning drying my hair. Not only does my Dyson dry my hair quicker than any other hair dryer that I have ever owned, but it has several attachments that come with it. I have yet to try out all of them, but I will definitely be doing so. I just want to feel as comfortable with the dryer itself first. I’m particularly excited to try out the extension that will let me style smaller sections of my hair into a curled look. I know that using this particular attachment will be a lot of fun, as will all of them. It will take some time to play around with attachments. I wanted one of these ever since they first came out in 2016 and this summer i finally decided to pull the trigger and i could not be happier! the scalp protect mode is phenomenal, doesn’t get too hot for my scalp no matter how close i get the hairdryer yo my scalp. The functionality of it cooling down and slowing down when you set the device down is a really nice touch i never quite realized how badly i needed. the attachments are amazing, i really like the root pick for drying my roots and the concentrator for blowouts. It does what states. I'm professional hairstylist and this hairstylist dryer dries fast. I like the scalp protect mode, plus the ability to remember what settings you were using with a particular attachment. My last Dyson dryer lasted for about 6 years of use in a salon. It broke after 7 months. I started a warranty claim with Dyson and they've been sitting on it for two months with no update. Customer support won't give me a straight answer except "wait 1-3 business days" over and over. Garbage product, garbage company. Don't buy. Read more

I bought this for my wife. Got a great deal during Christmas. She absolutely loves it! She has been a hair stylist since 2000 and said this is by far the best. The handle has a little cap that holds the filter and needs to be clean monthly in order for the dryer to last. Very easy, just twist the cap to lower and clean the filter with a paper towel or rag (unplugged and cool!). Then replace the cap. Read more

Dyson absolutely knocked it out of the park. It's a solid investment and worth saving up for, too. The technology is amazing. All the attachments and directions are so worth it.
