My wife was in the market for a new hair dryer, and I thought it would make nice gift. When it comes to skin and beauty products, I really tend to stay away from making a decision as she can be very picky, but I decided to order this because it boasted few really cool features, and the price seemed reasonable. She was able to try it last night and was really impressed by its effectiveness. Best feature by far which it was advertised as was the speed. At 110,000 RPMs this baby is powerful and really does dry hair fast which saves a bunch of time for getting ready. Beneficial to us both if you ask me. While the power is superior it can be bit loud, and I have to ask her to shut the bathroom door. So, as far as low noise I am not sure I would agree with that, but everything is perception and maybe its low noise compared to others? That is not a deal breaker as it seems to only be at its loudest when initially turned on and then seems to simmer down and become more tolerable. One of the cooler features is the fact that the attachments are connected via magnet and so the easiest I have seen for a different attachment to be placed and or take off. This is really convenient and again a time saver. These designs are really important, and I truly feel they are what separates these from more expensive and even branded models with similar features or some without these features at all. For around $50 I think thi has good value and my wife can attest that a recommendation is deserved as well as 5 stars! Read more

WOW, this thing is impressive in looks and performance. First it does what it should do, blow enough air/hot air to quickly dry the hair, and it nails that. Plenty of power and heat to do the job. Controls are very intuitive. Magnetic attachments of a diffuser and a 'fan' attachment snap on great and distribute air evenly. Nice to see the actual temperature displayed on a beautiful mirror display that also works as small a mirror (not totally optically accurate but pretty good). By far the fanciest hairdryer I have seen, but it also works like a champ. Cons: After using it a few times I need to mention 2 things which cost it 1 star: 1- The diffuser did fall off once from it's magnetic attachment. If you use that diffuser like a brush it won't work, if you use it more statically it will 2- The intake is in the end of the handle so you really should not hold it there as you will be restricting air flow. Also Note: The temperature setting appears to be not actually measuring temperature but just simulating measuring temperature, giving you basically regular hair dryer settings. With that said it is still a very beautiful hair dryer, even with the 2 cons, and if you like a modern look, it literally blows away the competition. Read more

The fit and finish of this hair dryer punches well above it's price category. If I had seen this in a store without a price tag on it, I would have guessed it cost at least $100. If you are looking at ordering this, it is probably because you want a Dyson Supersonic but can't justify the price. I've had a Supersonic for 4 years now and have been looking at getting a spare hairdryer for my kids to use after bath time. This has a strong, focused beam of air just like the Supersonic does. It is slightly higher pitched than the original Supersonic and just barely louder when they are both on the highest and hottest setting. Compared to a regular cheap hairdryer, both are magnitudes quieter and dry hair in at least half the time. Both the Dyson and this model are very pleasant to use. This is intuitive to use. There's a traditional slider switch controls airflow as OFF, LOW, or HIGH. Temperature is controlled by a button that cycles through a few temperature settings and it's all displayed as nice big numbers on a bright screen, which is a feature the Dyson doesn't have. Overall, I can say that this is a very close Dyson Supersonic clone. At the time of review, this is only $50 compared to almost $500 depending on what model of Supersonic you buy. They could charge double for this product and I'd still feel like it would be fairly priced. You are getting 90% of the OEM product for only 10% of the price, the value of this is incredible. I LOVE this hair dryer. I threw all my old ones away. This dryer is small, compact and super powerful. It comes with two different attachments: a diffuser and a directional. There are two different speeds and any temperature you want. You can visually see the temperature as we adjust it with the temperature buttons. It drys my hair faster with protection and styles it accurately. This dryer will not damage your hair when used correctly. I love the size and capabilities of this dryer at a fraction of the price!
