This review is for the Hezefafa Ionic 2000W Foldable Travel Hair Dryer, which sold for $39.88 at the time of my order—a price that seems in line with other similar products. As a frequent traveler, packing light is very important to me. I’ve owned other travel hair dryers, so I’m familiar with the tradeoff often required between power and portability. At 2000 watts, this dryer is powerful and surprisingly quiet, but it is significantly larger than I would expect for something marketed as a travel dryer. Yes, the handle folds, but it isn’t especially compact. While the size makes it comfortable to grip, it also adds noticeable bulk. The cord was another surprise. As shown in my attached photo, it’s quite thick—more like what you’d see on a vacuum cleaner—and adds as much bulk as the handle itself. The description mentions that the dryer continuously monitors temperature and automatically adjusts heat. I’ve owned dryers that simply shut off when overheating, so this does seem like a thoughtful feature. The listing also highlights an “innovative” heating element design, though from what I can tell, this appears to be fairly standard technology rather than something unique. That said, this is a powerful, well-functioning hair dryer that performs nicely and includes a heat concentrator nozzle that snaps on easily and stays securely in place. Okay, I have to admit I purchased this compact hair dryer not for my hair, but to blow dry my watercolor paintings between layers. Unless you want to paint a little and walk away until it dries, you need a heat tool or hair dryer. Since I'm just getting started with painting, I decided to get this hair dryer because it can double as a craft tool and a travel hair dryer. I like the multiple heat settings. The media could not be loaded. This is a good budget friendly option for a travel compact hair dryer. Relatively light weight, cord is good quality with a nice mesh guard on the back of the dryer. The company states the dryer can reach 140°F on high heat. I read 113°F but the reading was about 5 inches from the dryer which is the normal distance I hold it away from my hair. This is a medium heat dryer. I have white/asian thick shoulder length hair and usually use high heat hair dryers. Professional dryers usually take me about 10 minutes, this took about 17 minutes. My hair was not frizzy and the dryer maintained a consistent air flow and temp. I would recommend this for travel especially at a reasonable price point. But make sure it works with your hair type. This is a FANTASTIC HAIR DRYER!! I like that it's ergonomic, lightweight and folds up easily and nicely to store away or to put in a suitcase for travel. It's an ICONIC IONIC hairdryer. It has a cool air mode, low flow heat and high flow heat modes too. It dried my hair quickly and made it smooth without any heat damage. A blue ionic light comes on when powered on and the back of the dryer is flat and smoother than other hair dryers so it's easy to wipe off and clean. It also comes with a bonus accessory air flow removable attachment. It works awesome! I ordered this blow dryer for our guest bathroom because it’s compact and folds down nicely, but after trying it, I kept it for myself and moved my personal dryer to the guest bath. It works great! The airflow is powerful, dries hair quickly, and leaves it smooth with less frizz. Comes with a styling attachment and is much quieter than most dryers and feels well made despite the compact size.
